We're Back!!!
Missing my wedding vacation!
The wedding and honeymoon were so surreal. I miss it so much!!
Wedding was great besides a few minor issues with the limo driver getting lost on the way to picutres...for an hour!! So we were a little late to the reception :/ oh well! We had a BLAST though. Afterwards we all went to a hotel and there were some major issues there with the owner...the worst customer service experience ever!! Basically we were promised many things that never happened and they said they never made those promises. We ended up sleeping in my in-laws room with them in their extra bed :( Oh well we had plenty of fun on our honeymoon!! All the pictures i have for now...will be back with more! |

2 Days Left!
So excited and nervous! It doesn't even seem real - we've been planning this for so long now, I can't actually believe that it's here. Hopefully it hits me soon!
Not much left to do besides setting up the reception Friday. Of course there is last minute cleaning because our friends from Germany are coming in tomorrow morning! yey!! My mom sister and niece are getting our nails done today and the FH is coming along as well. Haha. Sunday we're off to Thailand!! Still have to pack for that... I won't be back here for a while, so good luck to the rest of you June 20th brides out there. it's going to be a great day for all of you!! |

I'm very pleased with how these turned out. I saw the idea on the Knot and adapted it. The inside lists the wedding party and family, goes through the ceremony and at the end we wrote thank yous to our family, friends and everyone. |

Wedding Reception
Finalizing Linen Order Today! - Need Help
So I've run into a problem at the last minute with our chair covers...
The chairs at our reception facility are the stupidest roundish-square shape. So the round back covers don't fit and neither do the square. Last minute I've decide to go with the satin pillowcase covers. So here is my question and I need opinins quick!! We have black table cloths (polyester) and black napkins (polyester) and I made lime green napkin rings. I really don't want to change this as we are on a budget. Our centerpieces are flowers and they will be white and green. Originally we were going to do a black poly chair cover with a white sash, but now that we're switching to satin, I don't know if I should do black or white??? I'm not doing a sash with these because they already tie in the back. What do you all think????? |

CraZY Dreams!!!
So many hilarious nightmares...
I know I'm not the only one having stupid outrageous nightmares through the whole planning process, so let's share!
One recurring dream I'm having is always a different aspect of the wedding day, either at the church, before, at the rehearsal. Well it's me flipping out jumping and screaming because of my dress. One night it was long and purple. Another night it had bows all over it. So this went on for months until I finally had my dress altered and it actually looks good. Not that I'm a peace with my dress. These dreams have finally stopped! There have been the random dreams of the honeymoon and stuff. The lates one is I woke up in a panic because we had gotten to the church and all of our bouquets were dried up weeds!!! Ok so not all weeds, but mostly dried up queen annes lace. They were horrible!! And my BMs wouldn't talk to me because of it! Haha! |

a special place for pictures
My mom's client/friend is kind enough to let us use her garden/yard for picutres after the ceremony. Her daughter passed away 3 years ago at age 12 and they have created a beautiful garden in memory of her.
We went to see it a few weekends ago and it's just so beautiful. This picture is only part of their massive yard! I am really looking forward to having our pictures taken here - so excited that I've decided to seriously trim down the pictures at the church and we're having our family come with us to get pictures here. Hopefully the weather is nice!!! |

30 Days till the Wedding!!
Bachelorette party this weekend! Who's excited?!?!!
It seems like everything is drawing to a close...tear...but there is still so much to do!
My bachelorette party is this weekend in Putin Bay, Ohio and all of my girls will be there! So pumped, although the hotel we're staying at was supposed to have their pool open and not it's not opening till June! Boo to that. Met with both priests and finalized all of our paperwork. Next time we'll talk to Father McCool (love his name!) will be at the rehearsal. Programs are done. Met with the organist. Got vaccines for honeymoon (ouch they hurt). Cookies are made (for the most part). Last things to do will be to... Pull some teeth getting responses out of people (WTF...why are people so rude when it comes to RSVPing?), order favors, give final head counts, pick up my dress and pack for the honeymoon!! |

Flower Girl
Girls will be girls!
My niece is going to be out flower girl. She turns 3 a week before the wedding and I can't wait to see how she acts at the wedding!
She is already so excited for it and everytime I see her she talks about her dress and my dress and how we are going to look like princesses and we'r going to dance and spin. She says her date is Diego (the cartoon) and she gets so shy when she says it. Lol My mom is making her dress...it's going to be an A-line dress. The skirt will be zebra print with a black top and a lime green sash! I'll post pictures when it's done. |
