I'M MARRIED!!! Wedding was Great!
Pictures (Not Professional) from my co-worker
Hi Ladies,
I missed you guys so much. Things have been moving so quickly since the wedding. Where do I begin? The wedding was FABULOUS!!! I was stress-free, nothing went wrong or at least nobody told me if anything did. Ammon looked so handsome in his tux and I really surprised him with my dress and the surprise song that I walked down the aisle on, which was "You and I" by Stevie Wonder. The pictures don't do the wedding justice and there are a lot of elements that you don't see in these photos, but the professional pictures should be back soon. We choose to do our own vows and traditional, our vows had the entire church crying, even the pastor was alittle choked up. It was amazing to look into My Husbands eyes and confess my love in front of family, friends and most importantly God. It was truly a day that i will never forget. I loved my dress and the decor turned out pretty close to what I wanted not exact but I didn't let anything stress me out that day. I enjoyed every minute. Everyone keeps asking if I miss the planning, and I have to say NO! but I miss the wedding day, I wish it would have lasted longer. Everything went by so fast. I am planning to add more photos and give you ladies a breakdown of the day, it's ups and downs. Enjoy the few photos I do have |

See you after the Wedding!
This will be my last post until the after the big day!
I want to thank all the brides on WBC. Those that gave me great advice, I thank you and will post pictures from all the details and to the ladies that just had great posts with lots of information. Thank you too. Reading over all the different blogs gave me so many wonderful ideas. I couldn't fulfill all my dreams, but I think that this day will be OUTSTANDING!!! Everything is coming together very well, we still have small things to do such as tie a ribbon on the menu cards, write out the escort cards, put tips in envelopes, wrap wedding party gifts, and get all my stuff together for the day.
My Maids of honor and bridesmaids will help me tomorrow with the corsages and boutonnieres. I am so excited and can't wait to be Mrs. Holmes. I will post lots of pictures from the day and give a full breakdown of the events when I return. Thanks again for everything! See when I am Mrs. Holmes! Oh, BTW My wedding is Saturday, not tomorrow! |

10 Days To Go...
I still have so much to do...
We are offically 10 days away from the wedding and things are getting done by the minute. Although I have had a few minor setbacks, I am getting back on track because I don't have any other choice.
We currently have 84 people that have RSVP'd for the wedding, we will be calling the rest this week, as we are meeting the the venue on Friday and need a final headcount. Our total invites was 110. We will meet with the photographer on Sunday to give the final payment and go over all the wedding day details as well as need photo shots. We recently decided to add lighting to the venue, not much, just some lights for the dance floor and a few uplights for taround the room. We will meet with them this weekend as well. I also have to sneak away at some point this weekend to pay for the Groomscake, which is a secret. I also need to drop off the Chocolate ribbon for our wedding cake. I pick up my dress this week. I was supposed to pick it up last Friday, but they were not done with the dress. But I did get to try it on and it fits perfectly. I will also meet with the DJ this week to finalize all the songs for the Special moments. I have a few DIY projects to complete, The unity candle design, printing of programs, table names and menu cards. I need to buy chocolate kisses for our favors. Work on seating chart. I am done for the most part, but we need to make a few adjustments. Meet with the ceremony pianist and soloist. There is so much to do... |

Bachelorette Party
Saddle Ranch Chop House
Last night, Saturday 11/29 I had my bachelorette party at Saddle Ranch on Universal City Walk. There were about 11 girls there including the bridal party and we had a blast. We started the evening with appetizers and drinks. And our bartender was awesome, we had 2 rounds of free shots from the waitress and bartender and when I arrived, I was given a shot called a wedding cake, Great!
We choose Saddle Ranch because we could Ride the BULL! And boy did we ever! all my rides were comped courtesy of Saddle Ranch. The drinks were great, the food was great and the evening was spectacular. I had so much fun. So much that I didn't get back into the house until about 4am. My FH had his bachelor party last night as well. We even met up at Denny's for breakfast after both of our parties. Great way to end the night! |

Ask a Question
Are you trying to lose weight before the wedding?
My FH and I both wanted to lose weight. So we thought what a better time than for the wedding. We joined weight watchers and I have lost close to 50 pounds and my FH has lost close to 40 pounds.
But now we are starting to see the effects, both of our wedding rings need to be resized, My FH needs to have his tux refitted and my seamtress has made it very clear that I can't lose another pound. How are you coming along on this weight loss rollercoster? |

Marriage License Picked Up
We're getting married in 2 weeks!
My FH and I went to the Beverly Hills courthouse and picked up our marriage license. I thought this would be a lengthy process. We were in and out of the courthouse in 15 minutes.
I forgot to bring my camera that day, but it was great. The clerk was very sweet and made us laugh a lot. Neither of us were expecting to raise our right hands, but the process was fun. And it's one more thing off the to do list. |

Wedding Dress
Pictures from fitting
Hi Ladies,
It's been about 15 days since I last posted something, but I have been keeping up with other WBC brides. During that time, I had my 3rd fitting, where I finally had a chance to see the lace overlay of my dress. LOVE IT!!! I am so in love with my dress. There are still some adjustments that need to be made, such as, the straps needed to be tighter, the corset back was not in during the last fitting, and the dress bunched up in the front and was to tight around the hip area. All alterations will be completed on 11/28 and I can pick up my dress if everything is okay. I really wanted the lace overlay for my wedding dress but they cost so much. A friend told me about this bridal shoppe that will custom make a dress at a good price. I am having my dress made for my body for less than 50% than what I would have paid in stores... Gotta love a deal! |
