Wedding Flowers
You've gotta be kidding...Wedding Robbery

So, last week I went to a neighborhood florist, right...
Gave her my ideas about baby's breathe pomanders and ceremony decorations. I also gave her my ideas for my bouquet...

Well, needless to say, she was excited about the input, and we were batting ideas off of one another for awhile....
I told her that I would be able to provide some supplies that I have already purchased and that I would purchase more...
I told her my budget...1,000

NOW, today, THIS BROAD sends me a proposal for $3,000

WHAT!?! For freakin baby's breathe...seriously, for crap that grows along the highway...

I swear some of these wedding vendors are outlandish with their pricing, as if people don't have access to the internet and can research and assemble their own centerpieces...AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT I AM GOING TO CONTINUE TO DO

SMH...

Since my sister is a florist, I see all the behind the scenes stuff that goes into floristry, so I usually understand the high cost.
A lot of the flowers cost the florist an arm and a leg, then the hours they have to spend putting them all together, finalizing with their suppliers, etc etc. They usually have to charge that much to stay afloat.

BUT, for baby's breath??? It is the cheapest most accessible flower for a florist and probably just about the easiest to work with!

I would def get other quotes, or buy a few bundles and try some test DIY's!

I was a floral designer for 4 years, and I still can't  understand why everything is so dam expensive. I say you buy some baby's breath and see how difficult or easy it is to make your own centerpieces and bouquets. If it turns out to be something you can easily do, you should head to a market even a week before your wedding, grab all the baby's breath you can get your hands on! Luckily they stay fresh for a long time, so you will have enough time to work on your projects! Good Luck!

Oh that's just too expensive.. Time for ulteria options! I think you would do a marvelous job DIY. Start collecting old vintaged pots and vases to put it in or something!
