Watz up WBC: Vintagelover is back!
We had a baby girl!
Hello girls, just wanted to update you on me and Brandon's marriage. We have been married 10 months now and just gave birth to our Brandi Marie on November 1, 2011 at 4:10 a.m. She weighed 6 lbs. and 11 oz.. We are so happy and she is such a joy in our lives.
So much has happened since our wedding last February. I lost my mother on May 11, 2011 from a car accident and dealing with my father and his emotions, trying to be strong. I went into a deep depression shortly after that and tried my best to not loose our baby Brandi which was a close call twice during the pregnancy. I was on strict bed rest for the last three months of pregnancy. Even though little Brandi came a couple of weeks early she is just beautiful. Marie was my mothers name so we added that to Brandi. When I look at her, she looks just like my mother. I tear up about 2 times a day. A miracle! I'm not sleeping much, but it'sall worth it and she's just a joy to our family. Thank you for looking! Are you dissappointed on some of the things can't be used?
I'm very happy with my thoughts and how our wedding is going to look in 32 days. I'm looking back on my previous blogs and relized that some of my things I thought about in the beginning will not be used. I had the dream dream dress, flowers, linens chosen and have definitely turned to another route? Especially if you have your mind set on a budget or a particular price? For instance, I wanted fresh roses for centerpieces and with my wedding being on Valentines Day weekend, they were tripled the price!!! Fresh roses right now are $17.99 for two dozen and fresh rose centerpieces will be $350.00!!! WTF??? I really didn't want to do that for centerpieces and came up with an aternate route. My bouquet is going to be vintage laced creations, but I originally wanted fresh roses. I wasn't going to pay $175.00 for fresh ones!
Just curious, are you dissappointed for something that was originally planned and ended up going a total different route? Sigh..... |

I have to share a thank you to Rhonda (Partyshakers.com) for making my dreams come true. She has been outstanding through the whole process and I sware I have changed this menu 3 times already, lol. She's been great and so patient with me and Brandon. I LOVE HOW OUR VINTAGE MENUS TURNED OUT. I wanted a larger type of menu as an open book, lace and special wording. If any of you are debating about menus, drop her an email! She's been very flexible with my budget too. I sware, she's the BOMB!!! I was puzzled about the opening of the menu of wording and she came up with the front words. Perfect!!! Front reads: God is great, God is good, Let us thank him for our food that we're about to receive! Getting ready for my bachelorette nite, any suggestions?

41 days away and counting and I have been so busy. Brandon and I just took a mini vacation away from everything to Napa Valley. It was rainy, but romantic. Now that I'm back I need to get it rollin! Take a look at some of my bachelorette party goodies! I was so happy to find this gold dress over the week. What do you think? I'm going to freeze my buns off, but I'm going to be looking HOT! Any type of bachelorette party games you would like to share? Some thing kind of kinky would be daring and fun. Let me know of some games, please? |

Our lighting decision!
This was really hard, but the decision is...
We have been going back and forth for the lighting at the reception. Either it was going to be soft pink or a hotter pink? We were discussing this around family today at Christmas dinner. Our decision is the hotter pink colored, like see to the left.
