Our wedding day was perfect!

Just wanted to write a little bit and will add more in a few days when I have time to write more and upload pictures!

The weather was great, the day was excellent, people behaved themselves at our house/farm.

The only thing that really upset me was our last dance...as soon as it started playing, I knew it was the wrong song. I stopped dancing and went over to the dj and told him to change it. He did not have it in his collection. This truely got to me.

As Phil told me..."if that was the only thing that went wrong all day, then I think we did pretty good!" I agree, but it still got/gets to me that one part!

We finally had our engagement photos taken. They were done at 10am and it was an overcast day.

It is cute b/c my maid of honor reminded me that...we got engaged on our farm, she took fall photos of us on the farm, engagement photos on the farm, and in less then 3 weeks we will be having our wedding on our farm!

So my FH's sister and friend are playing the music in the church, the intro, the signing of the registry and then the exit song.

So with just over 7 weeks to go, my FH's sister came over last night and tried to purpose a new song for me to walk into the church with for my grand entrance. I have had this one song playing in my car since like Jan. and sometimes crying to it, thinking about the day I marry him. And now to throw that at me. I was upset and defensive. It just sucks. I don't think I should cave into them and let them play their Charolette Church song as my entrance song. She was just saying it was easier for her to play and sing. But I had never heard it before? Like why would I intro to a song I don't know versus a song I love and have been dreaming of?

Oh boy!

50 days today!

Kinda stressing!

Although the invitations were sent out last week and now i'm getting RSVPs back in the mail. No NOs yet...good and bad...sent out a few extra then intended and hopefully the space issue doesn't hinder anything!

Hey there! Does anyone know the offical mailing address for Mickey & Minnie Mouse? I have seen a few on here but just wanted 100% the real mailing address as my invitations are going out this week!

Well here are some of the 200 photos I took at my own J & J. Some people I did not capture as I figured there was time...I guess someone else should have taken the camera! Anyways, what a fun fill night! We had a country themed J & J...clearly...it was great! All the games were so fun!

If anyone needs ideas, just ask me!

Enough was raised to basically cover the cost of the caterer! YeY!!!

Well the planning has come to an end and hopefully all goes well for us as it's our Country Themed Jack & Jill on Sat. night...not to mention I turn 27 on Fri...!

So, me and my 4 BM's all met in my hometown and we went last Sat. to Port Perry to go to a store called Ever Lasting Memories. We found my BM dress there, the girls tried them on and selected the colour. I wanted HOT PINK, and on the site I liked the Fuchsia better but the actual swatch looked purply? So I had to go with this Magenta.

Another issue that came up was...my one BM had told my other BM's that she didn't care for the flower. And I was not supposed to know that. When we got to the store, my mom and Aunt were there and my mom was trying dresses on too, so the girls went upstairs and I was with my mom for a bit. The BM (who didn't like the dress) was trying on other dresses.

Needless to say...when it came down to voting; EVERYONE was on board. I went through the room and asked...she was the only one who said she pretty much hated it? She didn't like how the material fell down to the knee?

*sidenote: she and my cousin (one of my other BM) are both trying to concieve...so could both be pregnant for my wedding in just over 5 months...so this dress has pleats under the empire waist. How could she not see that...

My other thing is...why would you stand there and tell me (in front of 5 other people) that you pretty much don't like it? It's not your wedding? And I thought as a bridesmaid (which I have been 3 times (and once more a month after my own wedding) and she has had her own wedding and only been a BM once...as in my wedding)) you are supposed to suck it up and get what the bride wants and it's the brides vision, not the BM's!!! It really got to me and was hard to handel as I was feeling bad and not wanting to make her mad? But really...suck it up and do it!

Also, the girls were required to put down 50%...which was only $80...so the dress is FANTASTICALLY priced! Come on!


So I have to get over it and move on!

So yes! One more thing checked off my list!

I originally asked my one BM to make my wedding cake as she loves doing that kind of stuff and it would be practically free!

Over the course of my engagment she has become pregnant and due with her 2nd child 2 or 3 weeks before my wedding.

A few weeks ago she lost the baby.

I feel now, she is going to become pregnant for my wedding (which is fine) but she has had 1 baby out of 3 pregnancies. I worry she will be on bedrest or not even be able to travel for my wedding as she is high risk.

Her son is also my 1 ring bearer.

Then the subject of transporting my wedding cake almost 2 hours to my wedding venue.

I suggested she come up a few days before the wedding to make it at my place and she didn't think that it was needed.

I also said that it HAS TO, HAS TO BE NUT FREE!

She came back at me and said "how can you even garentee anything from a factory would be nut free" ??? My thoughts exactly...how would any of the Nut Allergic people in the world even survive!

I don't know what to do and how to tell her that i'm stressed about this. She is already making cupcakes (from what I hear from my other BM) for the weekend that we are going BM dress shopping. Also a few weeks later she is making the cake for my Jack & Jill.

I don't want to hurt her feelings but this is not just coming from only me. It is our wedding and I can't been super stressed about something as easy as a cake.

Any suggestions out there?
