I CHEATED!! (kinda..Need help please!!!)

Everyone knows how I love my dress..well...I got a call from my FSIL. One of her dear friends has a Maggie dress (NEVER WORN WITH TAGS) and wanted to know if I was interested in it for DIRT cheap. It would need minimal alterations.. She gave me the style number and I found a Salon that had it in stock. This dress retails for 1,500..I would get if for 1,000 LESS
So...
Tried it on
I LOVE IT. My daughter said she loves it more than the black & white one. It sparkles so much in person.
As always, video and pictures.
Now , I have a budget and we are sticking to it, My black & white dress is not out of budget at all..but this dress is FAB to me and it is defiantly classy. It is hard to see but its actually like that diamond white/platinum color (which is the same one I was offered)
So watch & tell me what you think ladies..please

Its a Sottero and Midgley
I tried on the dress with out a slip and I would have to get one to add a little fullness to the bottom..



I re added pics of the 2 dresses for you to compare.. The Sottero defiantly has more a wedding feel to it.

I need help here ladies. The FH says he is not super thrilled about the black/white dress but knows I love it. He wants a more classic feel and I feel like his input & opinion is very important to me..

omg, that's a tough call...you look amazing in both of them!
i've tried on this maggie dress, it is stunning in person!
the white dress fits you like a glove, really shows your hour glass figure...since it's such a good deal, how about getting the white dress for ceremony during the day & keeping the black & white dress for reception?  'cuz the b&w one really carries the vintage glam vibe and it's rather 1 of a kind, too!  let us know what you decided

Well we are having a reception only..so no need for 2 dresses, thats my dilemma lol!!
I am not so worried about my theme, never really was lol. I always said my dress would pick the theme
UGH! lol

I'd suggest you go with Maggie especially if it's within budget - so no excuse *lol*, although the B& W one suits you beautifully BUT Maggies' dress is really glamorously and looks REALLY BEAUTIFUL ON YOU. I agree with your daughter (My persuasion lol!)

Um, the black and white is no where near as classy as the Maggie. Sorry to say- but when you see them side by side there is no competition. I hope you don't take this as rudeness on my part.

As pretty as the black & white one is it doesn't hold a candle to the Maggie Dress. The Maggie dress is elegant and sparkly and so pretty!

( I can't get the Maggie dress out of my head that I didn't get and sometimes it makes me think I picked the wrong dress. )

I would try them both on, ALONE- that way there's no one there to influence your decision. think about which one you really love, which one makes you feel your best, which one is the one you can see yourself walking down the aisle in. Trust me, you don't want to get stuck with a dress you didn't want just because its what everyone else wanted- that's what happened to me.

I agree that the Maggie is more classy by FAR so Tanya I agree with you 100%!! No offense take at all. I LOVE everyone's honest opinion trust me.
I think my best bet is the Maggie. I really do love the dress & I can't beat the price!!
I love the black & white but I want no regrets. I do want to feel like a bride even though its just a reception. I deserve it and so does my FH. I think if I do the black & white I will regret it (even though I do love it)

Your hubby like it too? That sells me lol. I love mens opinions on dresses!!! I have to show the FH the video still, he has yet to see it. He did tell me last night he is not loving the B&W dress but he said he loves what I love  lol

I have to agree... that Maggie dress is absolutely gorgeous on you.
I really liked the B&W one, but this new one is just amazing!

I like them both. Surprisingly I like the black and white one quite a bit even though it's not as traditional. But the Maggie fits you beautifully and is much more traditional. I think you husband will be happy as I think I recall you stating in a previous post he doesn't like black in dresses? Anyways, I asked my husbands opinion and also votes the Maggie! It's beautiful!

I am usually one to go for a colored dress, but the Maggie is absolutely stunning on you!  Honestly, you look great in both.  Do what makes you feel better.  As sapphire said--you dont' want any regrets, so go with the one YOU want.  You can't go wrong with either one.

OOMMMGGG !! it's beautiful!!! i love sottero gown.. WOW!!! me personally prefer the sottero one... :) traditional.. simple.. but veryyy elegant!!  you take the maggie sottero one right?? :)

Ok, you know how I feel about the black and white gown,.......but that Maggie was actually one I was looking at!!! I didn't want to travel 3 hours to try it on though. The Maggie is very stunning, sparkles all over, and fits you like a glove! I would agree...Maggie it is!

WOW! Ok so this seems like a sign 1) Dirt cheap  - no guilt on budget and you will feel so proud 2) FH wants classy - I know it's your day - you need to feel like a million bucks, but it seems kinda cool and coincidental that you found a stunning dress that you love and FH will too 3) HOLY WOW! It looks incredible on you! It is soooo beautiful! And this is my most important comment! Cuz as I said before, you need to feel like a million bucks! And you'll look it in this dress!

I loved the black/white one on you - so unique and you can def pull it off - but this one... it's a bit better than breathtaking :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Maggie dress!!! It is absolutely gorgeous on you. Personally I don't like the black & white dress nearly as much as the Maggie. The Maggie seems much more weddingy and it is so flattering on you.
