Have been MIA..........
Hello ladies!!
I have not been able to post and comment as much as I would like to. I had two deaths in my family back to back. So I am dealing with that. My uncle's funeral is tomorrow and my God brother's funeral is this Saturday. Pray for my family, please & thank you. In the midst of all of this, i have still accomplished somthing's on my wedding things to do list. I will post about those things later. |

Wedding Photography
Getting things checked off myy enormous list!!!
Yesterday I met w/ a great photographer. The picture and video quality and are superb. They are a husband and wife team. The wife does make-up really well!! We talked to them for 4 1/2 hours. It was like we were old friends.
On tomorrow, I am meeting w/ a caterer. I want southern comfort food: Fried chicken, collard greens, mac-n-cheese, etc..... You get the picture, I am making myself hungry...LOL!! Hopefully, all goes well and we can check that off of our list. My MOH and I are also, going dress shopping. I am so excited!!! ![]() |

Wedding Planning
I'm back in action!!!
Hi all WBC Brides!!! I missed you all, but I took a much needed brake from wedding plannin/posting.
Yes, I know I have been MIA since November 2011!! My last post was about moving and such. We are really just gettin settled in a comfortable. We have had such a whirlwind of a time with unpacking, painting, traveling, planning a Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years family get togethes, oh and my youngest daughter celebrated her 4th birthday w/ a Hello Kitty themed b-day party on this past Saturday, all at our house!!!! So, I have been busy, busy, busy!!! Ok, now to wedding stuff......I changed my wedding colors, to Chocolate Brown, Latte, Coral & Ivory w/ accents of Gold. My mom, aunt, best friend/MOH & I met with an invitation designer about a week ago, and yesterday we went back to see the invitation mock-ups. They are so pretty!! I made a few changes to the wording and such and will post the final mock-up once they are completed. I also, met up with my wedding coordinator and went over more details of my VISION for our wedding!!! I also, went to two hotels to block off rooms for the OOT guest. One of the hotels is the Hampton Inn and is $119-$129 per night and the other is the El Palacio Sports Hotel and is $79-$89 per night. Both hotels price ranges are w/ the wedding discount. I decided on two hotels so that my guest can decide what is the best price for their wallets. I am also in the process of working on my save the dates designs, which need to go out by February/ March and my mongram, so that I can have a very uniformed look on the invitation, menus, tables numbers, etc..... ![]() |

We are moving
Hi ladies I am in the process of moving, which is why I have not been as active on WBC as I would like too!! Just to darn busy. I hate moving...sigh.
Fortunately, I am not moving that far away from where I currently live. Also, FH & I are moving in TOGETHER along w/ the kids!!! This is def gonna be a change for me. I know with Gosd on our side nothing is impossible!!!! How many of you ladies have moved and/or are planning to move during wedding planning? How many of you moved in w/ your FH before marriage? How many of you have blended families (your kids+his kids= our kids)? ![]() |

Wedding Planner
I chose my wedding planner!!!!
I enlisted the help of Sheila from Royal Affairs on yesterday. She is a wonderful person with great ideas. Truly a God send!! I can not wait to see the manifestation of our ideas come to light!!!
