 my wedding pumpkin the guest platter, "fall in love" letters, carved pumpkin & photo collage the card box our wedding bands another picture of our wedding bands the chicken entree the beef entree Our DJ bought in 2 flat screen tv's and our guest were able to text message they're best wishes or funny things to everyone at the wedding after dinner the lights went off & it became a night club a pretty picture of the bridesmaid flowers!!! I got married on 10/10/2009 and I was extremely disappointed that President Obama didn't respond back to the invitation I sent him inviting them to our wedding. To my surprise, I got his response Monday (12/14/09) in the mail. So it was approx 2 months late....but he still responded :0) WOO HOO - Thank you President Obama...you made my day - & I will charish this response forever!!!

1 day to go!!!
I NEED MORE TIME...
It hasn't "exactly" hit me yet that tomorrow is my last day as a single woman because I've been sooooo busy this week!!! It breaks my heart that there is still SO MUCH to do still and so little time to complete it in. I was up till 1:45am last night trying to get everything together to drop off at the venue this morning & making/writing out the place cards with my mom. Bill only took Friday off this week which doesn't do me any good because the entire wedding work load has been all on me!!!! We haven't started the song/music list for the DJ & that was due two days ago. The bridesmaid gifts are not completed yet & the list just goes on & on. Man, up until this week I truely thought I was on top of it all & if I can get it all out of the way today....hopefully I can FINALLY relax & enjoy the next two important days of my life. I promise I won't leave you girls hanging tomorrow....I'll post one more blog to say farewell. This website has been a life saver for me!!!

Got the Wedding Rings!!!
From the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted a matching wedding band to go with my engagement ring. Bill on the other hand - he didn't really care what he got as long as it was manly looking :P (lol)
Several weeks ago I orderd my wedding band from Pucci's in West Boylston, MA (same place my engagement ring came from). Bill got his @ Kay Jewelers in the Auburn Mall. Kay Jewelers had an awesome select of "man rings" to choose from and I actually really-really like the ring Bill picked out for himself....it fits him perfectly. When we get home from the honeymoon we'll drop them off to have them engraved....I ran out time to do it before the wedding. No Biggie :0) xoxoxoxo |

I finished the OOT Boxes a few days ago but I haven't had an opportunity till this morning to hop onto the computer to share them with everyone <3
I bought the boxes online @ Oriental Trading and I tried to filled them with all local foods from Massachusetts &/or things that are "New England" related. I think they turned out fantastic!!! OOT Boxes include: - Polar Soda - Boston Baked Bean (candy) - Lobster lolly pop - Cape Cod cranberrys - Wachusett Potatoe Chips - City of Worcester Postcard - bottle of water - "Caramel Apple" Hershey Kisses - Ritz Peanut Butter Crackers |

7 days to go!!!
finally..."Single Digits"
I can't believe that our wedding day is almost here.....I have been anticipating this moment for forever and now we're in the home stretch of it all - 7 days to go (single digits baby - WOO HOO). To be completely frank....I still have a lot to do and just about every day I spaz over something but it is what it is. Come next Saturday its all about Bill & I and nothing else matters - right!!!!
It totally sucks that I have so much on my plate right now.....having to juggle work, the wedding, moving to Mendon, finding renters for my townhouse, dealing with the car accident I got myself in last Sunday and the regular wedding bull shit ....that I feel terrible saying this but I can't wait to put all of this wedding planning stuff behind me & go on my honeymoon. I am so sensitive right now that the stupidest stuff makes me cry. I know its just the pressure of the wedding....but I wish people kept there opinions to themselves and just cooperate. Today is my 2nd to last day @ work....& I'm hoping that once I start vacation tomorrow afternoon I will feel better about everything because finally I'll be able to give 100% of myself to finalizing the wedding. If someone ever tells you that planning a wedding is easy......their full of crap! Take my advise....this will be the 7th wedding I've been in and up until this moment I thought this would be a peice of cake & it hasn't been. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine....just needed to vent!!! |
