the tuxs for the groom and groomsmen have been picked out! tex will be wearing a full khaki tux and the other groomsmen will wear the khakis colored tie and white dress shirt similar to the pic at left only the tie will be aqua~!~

we meet with wedding planner tomorrow
yay we meet with the Inn's wedding planner tomorrow at 4:00 pm!!! And this weekend we are going bridesmaid dress shopping! ahhh feels good to being getting so much done! We ordered our toasting glasses and received them I LOVE them!! We also have our save the dates created just need to order!!

hi everyone sorry its been so long our computer has been broke and we have been super busy! we have our first meeting with the event planner at the inn on october 26 and the girls and i are going dress shopping for them on oct 27 :) so excited!!

YAY i found my dress!!!
Yay i found my dress!!! I even ordered and paid for it!!! and its in!!! I went to davids bridal and the girl took sooo much time with me adding straps and ect...i am still not sure if i am going to take the back out and add straps like the pic below of dress i wanted....but my seamstress did have a great idea to add pink to my slip :).....i am nervous to add a pic bc i dont want the fh to see!!!
SUNDAY IS OUR Engagement pics :) yay i found a white dress belt and boots like in the pics i love that pic and want to do one like it !!! also is a pics posted i want our photographer to do for our wedding day!!! isnt it cute to give to tex for a present!!! |

found our bridesmaid dress :)
\sooo saturday the girls and I had a lunch date and I gave them their cookies asking them to be in our wedding! It was a great day we had lunch and then went to a local bridal shop to try on dresses I was some what dissapointed in the shop i tried on lots of mermaid style dresses but didnt find on with the straps and bling I love, I then talked to the seamstress and she told me she could take back out of dress and add a strap and criss cross the bling strap in back. Then they pretty much tried to make me buy this 1800 dollar dress and were really rude thing is I was not in love with it I liked it but not love. Idk what your girls budget is for dress but 1800 plus 300 in alterations is a little much. The girls tried on dresses and found one they really liked, untill sunday we went to DB ( had to go with my moh bc i am her moh) and 2 of my girls tried on this dress and LOVED it the picture does not give it justice! Sooo the saturday I am going dress shopping for myself again hoping I find something I love! ? for you girls is did you know u loved a dress the moment you put it one...i feel like ive tried one soo many and they are all nice but one isnt one i love over others...mabey its bc i have a picture of rhinestone back and i want that...ill post a pic of the back i want with mermaid style sooo i hope i find someting i LOVE that i can turn the straps and back into!!

DIY Wedding
a peak at my DIY
So as I said the other day i have started alot of my DIY projects so far I have made...
* the bathroom basket signs and baskets * the bubble and program baskets * My MOH boquet and a bridesmaids boquet * cake topper * tried a few different centerpeices i really love the wine glasses * I also went ahead and tried some starfish boutniners * some of the other boutiners and such What do u ladies think? Do u like the star fish boutiners for the groomsmen? I will still have my lil boy have bouts that match tex and the dads, mom, ushers, host/ hosteses and ect have flowers but loved the touch of starfish for groomsmen I love the wine glass centerpeice and want to put 3 of them around a big vase full of sand shells and water with a floating candle on half the tables the other half will have vases with just flowers and then small rhinestone votives. I love doing this stuff I am so excited to marry my bf and get sad bc i feel like its sooo far away |

Wedding Decoration
Yay!! We got our starfish!!
So I ordered some starfish for some of my DIY projects and to play around wiht centerpeices, and they arrived yesturday. I love them they will be perfect for decorating. I am even thinking of putting them on the cake. Cake lady showed us a few picutres with starfish on cake and sand. I think more and more im loving the idea, but would still include the daisy's. I have done alot this past week! Am i crazy since I have 14 months to go? I just dont wanna feel soo stressed at the end and honestly I love love doing it all. I made the bathroom baskets for the goodies, I made the bubbles and program baskets and my friend Emily came over and we made a trial invite so i know how much paper i need and ect!! I will post pics later for sure :) ..... So am I crazy doing soo much already??

DIY Wedding
started some DIY projects
soooo i wanted the sworovski cake topper that ive seen online but was not paying 100 dollars or more so last time we went to sioux city i picked up some e6000 glue and then off ebay ordered the letter F and and some swarovski crystals.....it was cheap all together spend 15.00
I then sat down with tweezers glue and started one by one placing the crystals on it took me only a couple hours and wasnt till the end i realzed it was way easier to paint the glue on and then place the crystals on....but i finished it :D how does it look???? |

A little bit about me
Hey ladies:) Just figured I should share a little about myself :) First of all I am a sister to 6 sisters and 2 brothers. :) BIIIG family but they are all half I am the only product of my mom n dad...anyway the hardest obsticale in my life this far has been the passing of my oldest sister last april :( she was the sibling I was the closest to. Always more of a Mom to me. Since well my own mother is well lets say a sad story of a mom. Anyway she was 24 when I was born and the one sister that would always take me and do stuff my other sibling always kind of thought of me as the spoiled little brat. So, at times it hits me that ooo my my sister will not be there to celebrate this day wiht me :(....As for my other siblings we somewhat get along but not really close to any of them I try but for some reason just gets now where I really have a dysfunctional family My so called Mom and I do not speak I am not one that just cuts her mom off this was after years and years of lies and having my own family realizing how sad she has really been well the final straw was after being engaged and we had planned a nice supper to take her out give her a present and inform her of the news...but she canceled last minute saying she had to work...come to find out she was lying and had planned a surprise party for my neice who was finding out the sex of their baby and instead of inviting us and explainin it to us she lied...this is one of many many lies she has ever ever given my her and alchol come first..and has never been a mom to me!I then told her I no longer have a mother bc im not going to beg her to be my mom anymore...this is a descion i battle with daily..but i could go on and on but all it does is open my eyes to the kind of mother I wil NEVER be! As for my Dad he is wonderfull, always there to help out or lend an ear, infact after my Mom pulled her last episode and lied he went with FH and I to check out venues :) He is actually 77 years old he was 48 when I was born, lets say I came along much later in life. I have 3 wonderful children 2 of which are with my x husband ( yes I was married before when i was 19) and one with my current fiance. Mackenzie ( kenzie) is 9 Kaiden is 6 and Kinnick is 14 months! They are completly wonderful. In our wedding I wanted them to be more then just flower girls and ring beares so Mackenzie is my Honarary MOH and Kinnick and Kaiden are honorary BEST MEN :) I am self employed Child care provider! I love lover my job and every child that i care for, one has informed her family, me and everyone she is our flower girl :) hey i cant disapoint :) As for the FH and I we started dating in april of 2010 and I just knew he was the one from the very beginging not like anyone I have ever met!! He is soo sweet and kind. Trust me we have our tiffs but for the most part I could not ask for more. I can not wait to be his wife :) wellll hope this gives all your girls a little idea of ME :) .
