We got all of our wedding pictures back today and I'm kind of disappointed on some of the shots we didn't get. So can I email our photographer to let her know my thoughts or do I just keep it inside?
Would it be rude of me to say something? |

I'm married and I love it!!!

Mother's Hair Style
Girls, I need pictures of mother of the brides hairstyle. My mom has thin curly hair that is past her shoulders with bangs. We are going to be putting it up, but I do not know how it should look. My mom never does anything with her hair so she has no idea either. Anyone have pictures to help me?
She was in her cousin's wedding 10 years ago and her cousin thinks she should wear her hair the same way....it looks like it was 10 years ago and it's a prom updo with all the curls on the crown of her head with sprial curls infront of her ears..NO! I don't think they says "Mother of the Bride" Help suggestions please. |

Wedding Dress
Last Fitting
Only 9 days left. I had my last fitting last night, get to pick my dress up next Wednesday.
I've been pretty calm, still doesn't feel real. Right now I'm just finishing up fianalizing everything with the vendors. Found out we are short on tables and chairs so I have to see if I can borrow some from our church and the biggest part is just making sure everyone knows where to be at what times. any last minute advices? |

Who gets flowers?
Here is what I have
1 brides bouquet 1 toss bouquet 7 bridesmaids bouquet 1 junior bridesmaid bouquet 1 groom bout 7 groomsmen bouts 2 usher bouts 2 mom corsages 2 dad bouts 4 grandpa bouts 2 grandma corsages 1 sister corsage 1 personal attendant corsage and here is where I'm not sure: do the 2 readers get a corsage? FH has 2 nephews who are going to hand out programs and take up communion in church, do they get bouts? I have 2 cousins who are going to be the alter boys, do they get a bout? Thanks |

Wedding Planner
Oh My - One month to go!!
Wow, time really has gone by so fast and I only have one month left. I'm nervous, I'm excited, I get cold feet at times, but overall I just don't want the last 30 days to rush by. I want to enjoy these last days of being engaged. I think I have mostly everything done, just need to finalize everything:
-times with vendors -flower list -ceremony program -alterations -guest count -get my rings back -assemble centerpieces -get marriage license and a few other small things and... -Send out the multiple checks :/ that all the vendors are waiting for On a another note, I had my bachelorette party last weekend. It was amazing. We had a bus with 20 girls, no drama, too much alcohol, lots of dancing, but it was so much fun. Here are some pictures. |

How do I keep the band on the jars
My centerpieces are mason/canning jars and I'm wrapping ribbon around the jars and I have a pieces of paper to cover the seam. I've tried double sided tape and a tape that a printing place gave me to stick everything togher, but after the jars sit a little white the band pops off. I don't want to tie a knot or bow because the ribbon is about 2 inches thick, so I don't think a bow would work as well as gluing it all together.
Does anyone know of some really sticky ahesive that I can use to glue the ribbon together and the paper over the top with out making a mess on the jar (so they can be re-used to can with)? I can't have these ribbons popping off through out the wedding and they will be set up the day before and I can just see getting there and everything has fallen apart. The pictures aren't my actual jars, but the ribbon is like the green ribbon in the picture. |

Trial Run - What do you think?
I had my trial on Friday and I really like the way it turned out, what do you think?
The only thing I'm questioning is if the make-up is too dark? When I left my trial I said we should do a more natural look with browns instead of blacks, but now looking at the pictures and after wearing the make up for a while that night I liked the way it looked. What do you think? I also have fake eyelashes on. Those were hard to get used to. I guess they will use tabs instead of the whole row on the wedding day. They said I will not be able to tell I have the tabs on. Lastly, What do you think about wearing the veil on top or under my hair? |
