So Im finally getting down to Reviews after several fights with our Reception Facility - but here it goes;
Loganville Flower Basket - Not happy - ** stars out of 10 I got flowers that I did not order. But the day went on and they managed to get the botonierres right and the toss bouquet - but the bouquets for the girls were small and in my opinion - ugly. My bouquet - had calla lillys and hydrangeas and it was cut very short. I ordered callas only - with long stems wrapped. :( Celsos Cakes - 10 stars ********** Cake was BEAUTIFUL Delivered on time - beautiful presentation and such a pleasure to work with - amazing ppl. Personal Sedan Car Service - 10 stars ********* Emo was great and punctual - very reliable and pleasant trasportation. David's Bridal - 10 Stars ********* Dress was ready on time - no issues or hassles from beginning to end. Even with my bridesmaids backing out crisis - I managed to find the exact mermaid dress I needed in the correct size - the day before the wedding! The seamstress - very pleasant to work with - the whole experience was fantastic (even the shoe dyeing and veil and accessories) Ulta Hair Salon & Spa - 10 Stars ********* Make up - Flawless Hair - fantastic and gorgeous Everything I planned with them for the girls and myself came out awesome. And although some ppl had issues with their hair - they could have easily avoided it by speaking up - everyone forgot that Im not a babysitter and if you give a stylist an attitude - expect yo hair to be f**d up. (just a slight vent sorry) Alpha Nails - 7 Stars ******* Not the color I wanted for my nails and they did not have the champagne tips I ordered - they forgot about them - but I did not have time to stress just asked for white and added champagne on top. The girl who did my toe nails - must have been on some next level sh** - bc she insisted on painting my nails - Purple. yes you read right and was upset when I said NO. If it was blue - I would have said maybe - but purple? wtf? she painted the flower girls nails in HOT PINK! I made her take that color off (she was sooo pissed at me) and I made a deal with the flower girl - we did a light baby pink instead which didnt really go - but everyone was happy. Decor by Magic Moments Inc - 10 stars ********* Everything I wanted and everything was BEAUTIFUL Simply Gorgeous - worth the $3,000 I spent on Decor NOW the ATRIUM - our Venue and caterer - 0 Stars We spent $16,000 for this wedding and these are the things they messed up on - - Threw out the Grooms Cake (yes you read right) we did not want it served but displayed. They were supposed to pack it up and let us take it home - instead they packed our bottom tier of the wedding cake (stupid) - The wedding consultant - She had the WORST attitude about Everything and was very bossy and controlling - kept coming up to our sweetheart table and bugging me about details that she failed to do we did not enjoy our dinner and rushed us through everything when we had time to spare - The Food - Bland and the chicken was dry and the fish was hard. I did not enjoy my meal. They failed to serve our odourves in the Bridl suite and forgot about us eating - They "forgot" that we ordered a big Bridal table - our Bridal party was scattered throughout the hall. - They lost my guest Book and claimed that my "brother" stole it - Stole my cake topper- claimed it was misplaced? - Served the Cheap alcohol - we paid for the TOP SHELF - Would not let us play the last song and kicked all of our guests out 30 minutes prior to our end of contract time. - Demanded that my fh and I leave at 11:30 and were upset that our car was 2 minutes late 2 stars go to the great and wonderful staff. They were cooperative when the coordinator and the chef were not. After several arguments with the ATRIUM and Conversations with Hillary - nothing was resolved and her "attitude" pissed me off. NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THAT PLACE TO ANYONE THE ATRIUM IS THE WORST PLACE TO HAVE A WEDDING THEY WILL SWEET TALK YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE TOO DEMANDING THE DAY OF YOUR WEDDING. MIND YOU WE PAID FOR THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE - AND WE GOT NOTHING THAT WAS ON THE CONTRACT - EVEN THE FOOD WAS NOT WHAT WE TASTED AT THE FOOD TASTING - HORRIBLE |

Wedding Cake
I found a Pic of our Wedding Cake ")
I designed the layers and the designs ( I took these from othe cakes I saw previously) and placed them alltogether. The cake was Ivory and the designs were in a dark ivory color. The ribbon was in tiffany blye, and I made the cake topper myself.
Also The cake was almond filled with white chocolate gnache and topped with buttercream and light fondant. It was sooooooooo goood and not too sweet. We asked the baker to mot add too much sugar and so the fluffy cake and filling came out awesome. Cake by Celso's Cakes Norcross, GA - 5 thumbs UP - excellent job! |

The Wedding
We tied the knot ")
We are so happy to finally get it all over with.
Through the wedding process i lost a best friend and as hurtful as it is - I knew the friendship would not last - I will explain later. But overall the wedding felt like a dream. The vows, the flowers - everything was spectacular. Some aspects of the venue did not come out as expected but I send them a letter demanding refunds and explanations. I will do my vendor reviews after the honeymoon shortly. (We will be back next week) btw these are not professional pics - just a digital camera. |

Ladies it was a dramatic Day!
My Bridemaidzilla (Chief) never showed up and we got her ass replaced. On Friday (she Texted me??) I tried posting this twice but this comp just hates me. I will post the vents on Tue but dont worry we have a replacement. Wish me luck! |

Just a few Items I did

I completed the wedding weekend itinerary. I also did our timeline the day of - so we are pretty much set.
As I am packing the items that I will be delivering to out reception facility I will take pics of them as everything is too cluttered now. enclosed are pics of the Album I made after the showe (moms and dads copies) as well as the shirts I made for the girls (each had different theme) and the Bridal Party gifts. |

Vent...
I wish I can stick my middle finger through the phone
So This may be a Long story but I will keep it
short and to the point. My Bridesmaid and Maid of honor (from NY) have been the problem girls from the getco. So... A month ago I helped the Maid book her flight and Hotel from Tuesday the 9th of June till Moday the 14th. I have requested those days off of work so I can show her ATL and we can hang out. The Bridesmaid - mind you its 9 days to go - does not have her shoes yet - or the ticket to get here. I asked to spot her - she said she will put it on her card. TODAY I GET 2 CALLS Maid - Cancelled her flight and OUR Hotel (now I dont have a place to stay) - and will be arriving Friday Morning instead at 9:35. (She changed it 2 days ago - so much for telling me) Bridesmaid - just booked for the same flight. The drive to the airport is 1 1/2 hours (w/out traffic) But mind you I have to take all the other girls (7 total) to get their Nails done at 10:00 am and have to pick up and drive a 15 Pasanger Van at 11:00am and Prepare Food for the Rehearsal Dinner. and Drive to the Rehearsal and then Back. Wtf? when will I have time to do this? with 90 min airport ride I will never make it back by 10:00am and the Nail Salon would not change my appt bc its a Big Group. When am I supposed to get my Nails done? Eyebrows? Hello? and I have to cook? When I asked why did they take the later flight - t he Maid said - she needed her "rest" and now I took Vacation time (which I could have used for a Longer Honeymoon) and its going to sh**. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But here is the shi*. When they told me this - all I said was Okay cool - I will work something out and I will pick you up. What the heck? Someone pass me a cup of iced water before I puke. (morning sickness again) |

11 Days to go....
And I have bad morning sickness...how to cope?
With 11 days to go - and not having any break for the last week and a half - I don't know how I will cope on the wedding day.
Mornings are very rough for me - especially the long drive. But on my way home its the hardest. I have not made it home a few times without getting sick in my car "( and I do not know what to do. I have read several "suggestions" but none that really helped. Im worried about walking down the aisle, dancing etc. I wish this phase was just over "( brb - bathroom is calling (again) |

Wedding Day Perfume
After Macy's and Dialliard's counters which left me with a headache - I have decided to venture into VS. (they are having a Semi-Annual sale)
Because our ceremony is at 7:30pm I did not want perfume that is overpowering (plus my morning sickness is getting the best of me) so any heavy scents will have me running to the nearest "ladies" room. The scent of this perfume is very light but super sexy (and the bottle is cute too) |
