Honeymoon
Hello again... not made a new post in a few months!!
Hows everybody's plans going? Only 63 days to go and i'll be Mrs Russell :) I need location suggestions for our honeymoon... we are getting married on July 2nd but are planning on getting a late deal in mid-September so the school holidays will be over! We would like to go to Barbados/Hawaii/Dominican Republic or somewhere around that area. A few people have said beware as its apparently hurricane season (Does anyone have a link to a world weather map?) Does anybody have any suggestions or anywhere they have recently been and could recommend? Thanks for any help! Stevie :) xX |

Groomsmen
My groom will be wearing his RAF uniform.... (so hot!) and his groomsmen... we want them to be in grey to compliment his uniform. We cant afford to buy all their suits though... He's having 2 best men and my brother and his 2 brothers as ushers... plus the fathers are in on this too. I think it'd look quite funky if the grey suits weren't identical (see picture) Should we just ask them to wear a grey suit if they have one or just buy any grey suit or will it not look right?? :)

Hello again everybody.... :)
Here's a few photo's of my bridesmaids flower ideas! I cant wait... they're going to look stunning!! I'm having 5 bridesmaids wearing mint/aqua coloured 50's style shift dresses and they're going to have pomanders!! WOOHOO! i love them, they're so vintage, chic and stylish. i especially love the ones with pearls... mine are definately having pearls in or on! I originally wanted ivory roses for them as my flowers are going to be pink blush roses but im slightly leaning to the idea of theres being the same!! I'm also using their pomanders as table decoration! I have 5 vases... (See the attatched picture) and the pomanders fit perfectly in them... i'm having these as table centrepieces with pearls scattered along the tables... and possibly candles if the hotel allows!! Still need ideas for the evening reception as its at a different venue the following week (see other post for details)... Please comment and tell me what you think or have any suggestions! Hey brides! I need some help on the table decoration... centrepieces?? As i'm gettin married a hundred mile away from home, all my friends and family wont be attending so H2B and i are having another celebration the following week... only problem is... we cant decide on a nice, un-pricey table centrepiece! We want something classy, vintage but not expensive. i love the wine glass idea but will it be not enough?? i especially love the pearls and im having pearls on the cake, me, and scattered around the tables. Bear in mind, the hotel do not allow candles (for health and safety purposes) and we cant really afford a big flower centrepiece for all 12 tables!!
