I'm finally married. I thought it was going to turn out bad.I had a very hectic day. I got stranded at the nail shop and my photographer had to come get me LOL. My bridesmaids didn't arrive until 5 minutes before the limo left. Even with them running late we still made it to the square 15 minutes before the wedding. The groom on the other hand was 30 minutes late. Thank god for tinted windows on the limos since we had to wait for the men to arrive. My dj messed up the song order during the ceremony.
Luckly no one noticed the mistakes but me and everyone thought it was very beautiful. Thinking back I think it still turned out to be the best day of my life. Here's a few pics I got from the fam. Now Happily Mrs. Williams :) |

Yeah!!!! I'm exicited I received my response from the white house. Nice keepsake for my scrapbook. I was worried it would be months before I received anything. I got mine back within a couple of weeks.

Ok I've been racking my brains trying to come up with something cheap and nice for a centerpiece. So this is what I came up with. The first picture is with the lights on and the second is with the lights off. Those are carnations in the vase but I'm thinking about using roses, maybe purple roses since my bouquet will have purple in it. Ladies let me know what you think.

Ok so after getting the prices from the florist. I've decided to make my own centerpieces. I plan on doing something similar to the picture but I plan on adding the submersible lights and marble in the glass. So I've been searching trying to save money and I first found my vases on craigslist 24 for $70. That's the vase in the picture. Then I just checked again this week and I'm buying a 20lb bag of marbles for $10 and 25 lights for .75 cents a piece. I started to use the flowers in the pic but everyone says they look too fake :( so I'm going to buy real carnations. What do you think.

Lost I don't know what to do
I finally heard back from the florist I met with. I wanted something really simple and reasonable.....so I thought. I asked her about carnation bouquets and baby breath centerpieces. The bouquets were in the price range I expected $30 for bridesmaid and starting at $50 for mine. The baby breath centerpieces is what got me she wants $35 each. Plus tax, labor/delivery fees. I can't afford that I'm on a tight budget and will need about 22 centerpieces. I can't use candles so that's out. The tables are all round and will seat about 8-10 people.
Am I over exaggerating or is that expensive for baby breath? I guess I may have to go with silk floweres instead. Does anybody have any suggestions |

Honeymoon
Honeymoon Booked and ready
We have booked our honeymoon and I am so ready. We have 7 lovely days at sea which is the best part to me. We will be visiting grand cayman, roatan island, honduras; belize city, belize; and cozumel, mexico. My soon to be hubby has never been on a cruise so he's excited. I can't wait!!! I'm ready to skip the wedding and set sail! Now I just have to finish my honeymoon fund site for my guests. If all goes well we should have a free trip and spending money :)
We are actually getting married on his birthday and I wanted to do something special for him just for his birthday while on the ship since we won't be celebrating it this year. Hmm thinking about it I guess he won't be celebrating it any year from now on lol, but anyways can anybody think of something I could do for him. Maybe a massage, or a cake when we get on the ship? What do you think. |

Davids Bridal Sale
Davids Bridal has an excellent sale on limited colors in their splendor collection. I was able to get the ring bearer pillow, garter set, and guest book and pen set for 36.89 and that's including shipping. Unfortuantly they didn't have the flower girl basket in my color, but they are only 7.25 for the colors they have left. I hope this helps someone :) Good luck shopping.
