Selling my AMAZING Maggie Gwyneth dress!!!!!
Ok girls, she is for sale! Here are the details:
Description A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and corset closure. The classic styling of this gown fabulously flatters any figure with Bordeaux Taffeta ruched throughout the bodice and pleated throughout the skirt and train. Extraordinary beaded embellishments grace the side hip and sweetheart neckline. My dress details: Size: 0 (but fits more like a 3/4 because of the lace up back, so can fit different measurements) Color: Ivory Customizations: I had this dress taken in at the hips so that it would be more like a fit and flare/trumpet style...it was an AMAZING idea and I couldn't have loved the result more! :-) The description above does not even begin to describe how beautiful this dress truly is in person...the beading at the neckline and top portion of corset is simply STUNNING and I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I received!! My measurements at the time of my wedding were: Bust: 36" Waist: 27" Hips: 35.5" I have NOT had the dress cleaned (mainly because I am lazy LOL), However the only part of the dress that is "dirty" is the hemline and underside...should be pretty easy to clean, and if you are shorter than 5'7" with your shoes, hemming it would most likely get rid of the dirty parts... I paid $1300 for the dress and about $230 for the customizations/alterations (my seamstress said that most of the alterations can be "undone" if necessary as she leaves a good amount of fabric instead of just cutting it off. I am only asking $775 (plus shipping) for the dress WITHOUT cleaning. If you would like it to be cleaned before it is shipped, I will have to get a quote to have that done, although I REALLY don't want to deal with it and would prefer to just send it as is. My rehearsal is today... YIPPEE!!
I am so gosh darn excited I can barely contain myself!!
I didn't think I would get back on here again before the wedding (TOMORROW), but I am up with total butterflies right now...I am so nervous/excited/emotional right now that I just plain don't know what to do with myself.
Yesterday I finished decorating my venue and I could not be happier with how it turned out...it is everything I dreamed of AND more! To you girls that are debating doing uplighting....DO IT!! My room is BEAUTIFUL without it, but it is absolutely STUNNING with it! We weren't able to put up as much as we had originally planned due to some stupid fuse box problems, but it is still awesome! My giant "M" GOBO light is my favorite though! :-) My rehearsal is tonight, and even though 4 out of 6 of his groomsmen can't come, I am not even going to worry about it! My girls will at least know what to do and they can help the guys! I think I already have the "wedding is going to be over before I know it" blues...but oh well it will be so worth it to be married!! I have a little over two days to go...OMG!
Just wanted to stop in and say hi to everybody! I have been so busy this week since the venue let me have all week to decorate. It is so close and I am so ready! Yay
