4 Months Left!

This is NOT fun anymore!

So I have not done a post in 3 months mainly because planning this wedding is not fun anymore. It has been causing me more stress than anything else. I am not able to get or do a lot of the things that I have always dreamed of due to budget restraints and I understand. But am I wrong for wanting to through a temper tantrum just once during this wedding planning process?

7 months to go!

This is not going as smoothly as I had hoped...

I am so behind! Not because I haven't been working, but because things have not been working for me. I have not been able to find a good AND affordable photographer. That is actually my biggest stressor. Also I have not sent my Save the Date cards or even began to audition musicians/entertainment for the wedding. I really need to bust my but this month to get back on track.

My birthday had a rocky start this year but in the end I was very happy. I thank God for allowing me to live to see another year and I am looking forward to many more. I want to wish the other November Birthday Brides a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

8 months to go!

...but not much progress made.

I am at my 8 month mark but I haven't gotten much accomplished since my 9 month mark. I am actually pretty close to 7 months. At this point I feel that time is going by too quickly but the day is not getting here soon enough! I am meeting with the caterer/decorator/DJ/MC tonight with my wedding planners to pay the deposit, so by may next update I should have some more items checked off on my list.

I am so Relieved!

I love my dress!!!

This may sound strange but I purchased my dress in May, it arrived in August, and I have been putting off trying on my dress since then because I was afraid that I may not like it anymore. The truth is I couldn't afford my "dream" dress and at the time I thought this one was nice, so I bought it (on sale). After I ordered it and looked at the pictures, I started to have second thoughts. At that point I was stuck with the dress and couldn't afford to buy another one even if I completely hated it, so I put off going to try the dress on when it arrived because I didn't want to upset myself. Well today I went with my mother to try it on and I LOVED IT! I loved it so much and was so relieved that I had to do a HAPPY DANCE!

Flower Girl Dress

Gotta love eBay!

I went to David's Bridal today with my mother to try on my dress and on the way out we saw the perfect flower girl dress. Unfortunately it was 100.00+ dollars and I think that is ridiculous to pay for a dress that she will only wear once. So I went on eBay when I got home and wa-lah! I found it for $25.00. The bid was set at 5.00 with 3 days to go, but I didn't want to take the chance. I am so happy! I hope it is in good condition and won't need much alteration

Bridal Show

My first

I attended my first bridal show about 2 weeks ago with my sister. It was fun to walk around and collect bags full of stuff. We did the food tastings also and I tried sushi for the first time. I actually one an after-work party at America's Backyard (for the second time). Overall, it was fun. My FH is going to the 2nd one with me today, so I'll fill you in on how that went.

I loved it!

I went for my first make-up consultation with my wedding planner yesterday and it went very well. The make-up artist is professional and friendly, so I know that I will be able to get along with her on wedding day (a MUST). I asked her for a very natural look and that is what she gave me. I absolutely loved her work. We booked her, so now I can cross something else off of my list.
