Zebra and Hot Pink Themed Lingerie Shower
I am throwing a lingerie shower for my bestie and after searching the web, I have yet to find that IT factor for the shower. I want to use zebra print, hot pink, and lime green as theme colors. I am picturing a lime green table cloth with a zebra print table runner as well as pink and zebra print silk strips tied in bows lining a clothes line to hang all of her goodies. In addition, I thought a zebra material sign lined with pink silk piping for her seat would be cute. I thought something like this glass would be cute as well.
I know you girls are outrangously creative and I need your brainstorming abilities. What else can I do for the decor or any other aspects of the shower? |

Wedding Cake
Meeting with the baker next week!
It's time to meet with the baker! I am thrilled to pick out the cake! Buttercream Icing - Here we come! Yum!! I really want this cake but with buttercream icing instead of fondant and real ribbon in chocolate instead of fondant or gumpaste. The broaches in the middle of the bows would be bronze. I also want to find a very reasonable monogram cake topper with bronze and champagne stones on it!

Our wedding is at 6:30pm and the reception is to follow. We are hoping to have a Dinner and Dancing reception with beer and wine. What type of wine(s) do you suggest we serve? Thanks for your help!

What are you getting your Bridesmaids?
I am thinking of getting mine a cute tote/duffle bag, a pair of flip flops to wear at the reception, a personalized umbrella, and a pair of wedding day earrings.
What are you getting your girls? UPDATE: I ordered my sweet bridesmaids terry lounge chair covers and I am having the initial embroidered in them! I ordered watermelon and will have them embroidered in chocolate brown or lime green. I also got them chocolate brown flip flops from Old Navy and gold earrings from Accessory City. I may get them a duffle bag as well depending on whether I can find 4 alike or not. :o) I really think the girls are going to like these! |

Decor for the reception!
Some beautiful inspiration ideas for our reception! I am sooo sooo sooo excited!!!!!!! The third picture is an idea to have two pomanders in urns at the front of the church. I think they are just beautiful!

Reception Lighting
If weather permits, we are having an outdoor evening wedding reception. There is not much provided light. I bought some paper lanterns to hang from the trees but the trees are scattered and not so much in the middle where the tables would be set up. Of course, I want to use candles. What ideas do you have for lighting?
UPDATE: I am taping white paper lanterns and spraying them with bronzy gold spray paint. Then, remove the tape and they will have more of a texture to them and tie in with the theme colors of our wedding: brown and gold with accents of fushia! |

Wedding Dress
Why do I have to be so indecisive with this? :o)
I simply cannot decide between these two dresses. Maybe that's a sign to keep looking..
They are both beautiful in their own ways. One is completely simple and modern while the other is more detailed and classic. What's your opinion? UPDATE: I bought dress #2! I absolutely LOVE it! I didn't fluff the crenoline when I first tried it on but when I went back and fluffed it and the skirt looks even more beautiful! I love the beading and the lace on the dress! |

My goals for this week:
1) Get the chapel coordinator to take my money and reserve the date
