This is soon2bemrs's Pink Wedding!

So it's been a while since i have posted.. So much has changed since i have been on.. I was at a wedding about a month ago and wouldnt you know her centerpieces & flowers were exactly to the T what i was doing.. Now shes a distant cousin and we dont hang out at all.. so i dont think she copied i just think obvi we both have great tasteLOL.. so anyway.. I was freaking out im like allot of these same people will be at my wedding.. Soooo i had to change evrything.. my theme my centerpieces,cake,caketopper,favors etccc..
At that point tho,my girls dresses were already ordered.. so it wasn't an option to change the color(my cousins was pink and brown and mine is pink and black)sooooooo,lol, I went back to my original theme.. a beach theme.. LOL, so i know many of u are thinking.. WHAt a hot pink and black beach thtemed wedding in October in Mass.. But so far i have ben able to make it work.. I have uploaded a pic of One style of my centerpieces to give u an idea.. that ANYTHING is possible if you do it right.. I did the black sand and the Hot pink runner to keep my colors as a "theme" too

Soo I told the FH i refused to pay 30 bucks or more for some plain piece of cardboard box.. So I was at a store the other day and found christmas "hat boxs" on clearance.. I bought both boxes for 7 dollars and i already had the paint from other DIY projects and i also already had the paper flowers from another project.. So for under 10$ i made my card box!! I love it, it matches my decor perfectly!!

Sooo. these will be on every other table..
except i'm going to paint the ting ting black and there will be about 4 more gerber daisys in it .. plus more jewels on the bottom.. because my flowers will just be loosly placed in the vase and not bouquet style me and my six girls will be making them the night before the wedding.. =) found the gerbers for about 1$ each and about 40$ to have them overnighted to my house the day before from the florist.. saving about 500bucks by doing them with my bridal party!!

Soooo, heres another sample of my favors... except the flower that will be in it is a gerber daisy.. and from the pics you cant see the stickers on it .. they're clear and say Love and cherish..
I think i'm ganna put a little tag around the neck of the vase that says"thank you for sharing our day " instead of putting another sticker on the bottom.. I'm not sure what else i can do or change .. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! thanks ladies!

I'm doing 3 diff size cylinder vases on every other table But i will have the submersible florylytes(lights that go in the water) in Fuchsia and fuchsia rocks at the bottom with pink flowers in it!! and lots and lots of candles around it !!! it's going to be a mix of the different pics u see..

My favors!! This was just a sample i did to get an idea of what they would look like.. The bow will be Hot pink not light pink.. and the stickers will vary ... some will say LOVE,Cherish,Forever ETc... there will also be a decal sticker on it that will say something along the lines of "thank you for sharin our wedding day with us " and it will have our names and wedding date on it.. I'm also gana fill it with fuchsia color water and put a Gerber daisy in it!! they will be on the tables when people walk in the room..
I got the bottles at Wallmart 3 of them come in a pack for 1.79 .. such a steal.. I'll put more pics up when i have a complete look of them!!

I love my dress.. yes, it's maggie sottero!! This was me in my dress a few months after i had my daughter.. since then i have lost more weight so hopefully can tone up a bit more and take the back panel out so my back will be exposed.. but who knows maybe by then I'll decide i wont like the open back.. I will post more pics as soon as my dress in the right SIZE arrives in March!!

I am 25 and Have been with my FH for almost 4 years. I have a 4 1/2 year old son (Matteo) from a previous relationship.Matti and I have been together since Matteo was about 1.. Together we have had 2 children.. On March 9th 07 we had a beutiful baby boy we named Camdyn.. At 7 1/2 weeks old Camdyn passed away unexpectadly from a rare blood clotting disorder(Factor II Thrombosis)..We made the decesion soon after to have another child.. We got pregnant soon after and On March4th 2008 he had our Beautiful baby Girl Haylah( It's Hawaiian and means :remembrance of a loved one.) and we couldn't be happier.. He proposed to me when I was about 6 1/2 months pregnant with our daughter.. Our town has a random festival downtown lots of bands,fireworks,drinking etc.. well he took me to it and I guess origanally he was going to propose during the grand finale of the foreworks.. He later told me he got to nervous because there were so many people around us.. So he took me out to dinner after and before we went in he proposed to me in the parking lot..LOL.. He was so nervous,he put the ring on the wrong hand and finger and his hands were really shaky but... he said all the right things and it was adorable... The big day is Oct.17th 09 and i can't wait .. Our colors(or should i say my colors lol) are Fuchsia,Black and Ivory...I want a platinum wedding(yeah right) on a beer budget lol.. I'm a big do it yourselfer so I'm sure i'll figure out lots of ways to cut costs and still make it look like a million bucks(i hope so anyway).. I hope to help get ideas from this site and give advice as well.. Congrats to all the Future brides!! and to thos who have already wed.. your advice will be greatly appreciated
