Are Ceremony Programs needed?

I wanted to do a simple program for the wedding. We are having a very short outdoor ceremony with no readings or anything. Some of my friends and my FH do not see the reason to spend the extra money and told me to nix it. I think it would be nice to list every one's names and who they are...even though people will throw them away right after they leave.

What do you think?

I think they are a nice thing to have. You could do it fairly cheap, just print them off on any color paper or white with ribbons. They don't need to be fancy. :)

They are nice to have but honestly I don't really see the need if your doing a small wedding.  I would save the $
