It's our 1 year anniversary<3<3
Wow, I can't believe how fast time went by. I can't believe it's been a year since our wedding. It truely was one of the best years of my life. I couldn't be any happier being a married woman to the best man I know. All the worrying and jitters for nothing. I wish all of you WBC brides happy wedding days and years to follow. It really is an amazing feeling to be married and so in love.

Secrets Maroma Beach is Heaven on Earth
For our honeymoon we stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. I should be a sales person for this resort because it literally was heaven on earth. We had the most romantic, beautiful honeymoon we could've ever imagined. As an adults only, all-inclusive it was AMAZING and PERFECT! We loved it so much we're planning a trip back next year for our anniversary.

Bridesmaids
WARNING! Winnie Couture = bad quality!!
So everything has finally settled down since the wedding and I wanted to reflect on my day. It was an amazing day as you can read below, but there was one snag minutes before the ceremony.
My bridesmaids ordered the Winnie Couture dress pictured to the left. For the price ($300), you would think they would get good quality dresses....nope. Even though they look pretty they are very poorly made. I'm not joking when I say the dresses ripped one after another like dominos minutes before the ceremony began. My aunt, who is a seamstress had to sew each girl into their dress (thank goodness for my emergency case with needles and thread). I know what you might be thinking, the dresses didn't fit right, but that wasn't the case at all. Some girls had to have their dresses taken in so it fit perfectly. From the front and in my pictures you would never know the dresses ripped (my aunt did a great job), but in the back they were all torn up. I just wanted to post a buyer beware for anyone considering anything from Winnie Couture. Make sure you bring some needle and thread just in case. |

My 6/18/09 Wedding
It came and went so fast
Well I'm officially a married woman. I had the wedding of my dreams and an even better honeymoon. I can't believe all the planning and anticipation is over. I really enjoyed planning my wedding with all of you WBC brides. I hope all of you have the most perfect wedding days. Here are a few pictures to hold everyone over until the the professionals arrive. I'll also post some honeymoon pics of the most amazing honeymoon ever! I'm still in shock, I can't believe it's over. Cherish every second (even the freak-outs, haha I had a few).

Batchelorette Party!
My batchelorette party was this past weekend (June 13) at Foxwoods casino. It was amazing! We had so much fun!! So many batchelor and batchelorette parties, it was fun talking to them all about their upcoming weddings. Definately a night to remember.

In memory of a loved one
In honor of FH's brother that had unexpectedly passed a few years ago we decided to get a memory candle similar to the one pictured. We're going to have the candle lit with a pic and a boutonniere at the alter, then move it into the reception area. The glass cylinder came out so beautiful it brought tears to me and FH's eyes when we saw it. It reads:
In Loving Memory of Barry "BD" Lastname So Special, So Loved, So Missed Just wondering what others are doing in honor of their loved ones. Does anyone think this is too sad to do? |

DIY Wedding
FINALLY finished my seating chart!
I finally finished designing and printing (poster size) my seating chart. I'm going to make it look like a big hanging scroll. The print job came out way better than I could've ever expected (thank you Office Max, HATE Staples). It was alot of work but so worth it. I don't have a pic of mine yet (the pic is a sample of how it will look), so I'll have to get one to update everyone on what it looks like.

14 Days Left!!
aaaahhhh sooo excited! I can't believe 3 years of planning is coming to an end. It's very bitter sweet. I'm really excited the day is here, but sad the planning is coming to an end. Thank you WBC brides for some great ideas =)
