Im Married!!!!
OMG! I had the most amazing day of my life yesterday! My wedding was everything I hoped it would be and more. I really can't believe it is all over.
Sadly, it rained for most of the day. Yet some how, it stopped just before the ceremony ended, so we were able to take a few pics outside which I was really hoping to get. The reception was amazing. All of our guests had the best time and were dancing all night long. Only 3-4 people left before the night was over. And now we are getting ready to head to Aruba!!! Hopefully I will have lots of pictures ready when I get back. I was too busy last night to take any with my own camera, and no one has sent me any yet. |

Rain?!
Rain Rain, Go Away!!!
I will just die if it rains on my wedding day! Right now there is a 30% chance of rain for Friday. I just need it to stay away between 4:30-7:30. Is that really too much to ask?!
Luckily our ceremony is covered, but there are so many amazing photos I will miss out on if it rains. |

Wedding Week is HERE!!!
Getting Married on Friday
So the counter on the right is off a little bit because it says 3 days, but its almost here!!! I really can't believe it.
I still have a few last minute details to worry about, but I finally feel ready. Which is good, because this thing is happening whether I'm ready or not. We have had a few planning bumps along the road, but I am confident that our day is going to be amazing. And I can't wait to get to Aruba!!! haha. |

No Tuxes or Limo Now!
Can Anything Else Go Wrong?!
First my bridemaids gifts go missing....now this!
Yesterday afternoon I got a call from the place we are renting our tuxes from. The guy starts telling me that they have decided to go through a different vendor to get their stuff, and the new vendor doesn't have the tux style that we selected. He wanted my FH to come in to the shop that night to choose a new style. Excuses me? It's ONE WEEK before our wedding and you are telling me that we can't have what we ordered?! We have a contract, and FH already paid. It may not have been a big issue if there were something else similar to the tuxes we picked, but there really isn't. We had a very specific reason for picking the style we did. Needless to say, FH was livid. He stopped by the store and the guy there was a total a-hole. Apparently he has some personal issues with the vendor he was getting the tuxes from, so he doesn't want to deal with them anymore. Understandable, but you have to still fulfill the orders that have already been placed! So now FH had to take the day off from work so he can search all over to find a place that has the tux we want in such short notice. We were also renting our limo through this company, so of course we have canceled that as well. They better give us all of our money back, or we will be dealing with taking him to court after the honeymoon. Oh, for those wondering, this horrible company is All About Town. ***UPDATE*** Today we received the most bull crap letter in the mail from this company trying to spin the story in their favor! The entire thing is our right lies. They said they would refund our money for the tues, and now they are claiming we owe them $130 for my FH's tux because he was supposed to get it free, and then they changed their minds! This company is completely unprofessional! We will def. be suing now! Wish us luck! |

Missing Bridesmaids Gifts!
I am so sad right now.
I ordered my girls bracelets on August first, but they haven't arrived yet. So, I emailed the company to see if they had been shipped yet or when they would be. Someone tracked my order, and apparently it was delivered on August 7! Well, I never got it. I live in an apartment complex, and UPS always just leaves things on doorsteps, so I am afraid someone took it. Luckily, Classy Bride has been really accommodating and they have offered to send me another order. I just hope it makes it here by next week! |

Are You Serious?!
FMIL Issues
Today we found out that my FMIL is inviting random people to our wedding. She has invited her friend and her friends daughter. She thinks that just because some of my FHs family members cant make it that she can replace those people with whomever she wants.
Well, #1 it's news to us. Our final payment is due at the end of the week. We need to know who is coming and extra people wont have a seat or meal if we dont know about them. #2, why would we want people we dont know at our wedding?! Just because we have people who cant make it doesnt mean we need to fill in the blanks! I would much rather put the extra money toward our honeymoon. I'm so unbelievably irritated right now. We better not end up with random people showing up the day of! |

Dress Fitting
With Pics This Time!
I had my second fitting a few days ago. I took my jewelry and veil with me to get a good idea how everything would look for the big day. I love my dress so much, and it fits so good now!
I have my final fitting next week right after my hair & makeup trial. So exciting! Oh, and the dress does have a train. We just took pics after she bustled it. |

2 Weeks To Go!
AHHHHHH!!!
Things are finally starting to fall into place. We booked our DJ and I found someone to do my hair and make up. Joe picked his tuxes and got his measurements; and we booked a limo. Now all that is left to worry about are the little details.
Mom is helping me out by making place cards and escort cards. She will also be making my ring bearer pillow since we decided the banner idea isn't really going to work. The rehearsal dinner and hotel room is booked. So here is what I have left to do: - Make cocktail hour cd - Make table names - Finalize vows - Pick the rest of our reception songs - Finish seating chart (still waiting on about 10 RSVPs) - Purchase a few more wedding party gifts Now I just need to make it through another week of work. Bleh! |

RSVPs
So Many "Nos"
It is 3am and I am wide awake. I am stressing over the number of people who will actually be attending our wedding.
The RSVP date was Weds Aug. 5th, and we have only received 48 out of 90 RSVPs; 7 of which were "No". There are 9 other people whom I'm sure will be there and for some reason don't think they need to send back the RSVP. The rest I am doubting will be there. Our venue requires that we pay for 60 people. I am really starting to think that we wont even have that many! How sad is that? I guess I should be glad that I'm not dealing with more people than I expected rather than less. This way I don't have to worry about going over budget. But it will suck to have to pay for more people than we will actually have. |
