ceremony decor
Ok so we also finally got the pergola/chuppa what ever you want to call it done for the ceremony. It was super easy..its basically PVC and fabric..its huge, about 7.5 feet tall and 8 foot long. but it needed to be because the fireplace behind were we are getting married is really big. but im happy with how it turned out

DIY Wedding
Reception sign
This is one of my DIY projects i recently completed. Our reception venue has a two entrances to the building, one at the front but you have to go through the lobby, through a sittng room and down a short flight of stairs to the room. Or you can go into a seperate entrance at the side of the building that will lead you right to the room, but the door is hard to see and its down a side walk. So i made a sign out of a "make your own for sale sign" that i bought at walmart(that way its weather proof and comes with stakes). I just printed a damask design that i liked off of the internet and printed what i wanted the sign to say and used transfer paper that is usually used on fabric(like carbon paper) to transfer my image to the sign #2 and then traced and filled in that image with a sharpie. I drew my arrow on and then painted it in. After that was all done i sprayed the whole thing with a clear laquer just to make sure the sharpie and paint was water proof. What do you think?

Bridal Shower
my shower was July 18 so it was a while ago but here are a few pics. My camera was acting up so alot of them didnt turn out:( but it was alot of fun and my MOH went above and beynd. She rented this place and had it catered. the second to last pic is from the creek looking at the deck where the shower was. My MIL made the cake and she and i worked together to decorate it. I we went with pink and brown for the shower because i found some really cute shower invites on clearance right after we got engaged and i bought them then. Even though they arent my wedding colors. One of the best gifts that i got was Chocolate wine and Chocolate cheese! FH and I were a little hesitant about the cheese at first but it was just like fudge(we made my mom try it first.lol)

Wedding Invitation
Invites
Ok so we sent these out a month ago but i took pictures with the intention of putting them on here but im just now getting around to it. we sent out about 75 invites(150 people) and had about 120 RSVP which is about what we expected.. although some of those RSVP's were verbal b/c we had to call a bunch of people, which ticked me off because we sent them a stamp and everything.. maybe its just me but i think not RSVPing for something like this(when we needed a final count for food) is rude..but its over and done with now so oh well.. I stamped half of a damask stamp on one side on the outside and inside envelopes, we printed the adresses rather than handwritting because it looked alot nicer than my handwriting and i didnt want to hire a caligrapher. I think they turned out well..

Wedding Decoration
Ceremony inspiration
ok #1 is my inspiration for our ceremony the other 4 are pictures of or ceremony venue. Picture #2 is the hallway from the front doors with the staircase balcony(it has a double staircase!)and looking into the ballroom at the fireplace #3 is one side of the staircase. #4 is the fireplace that we will be getting married in front of(we plan on covering the mantle with candles in glass containers of all defferent sizes and shapes. #5 is just a pic of the room itself with the beautiful moulding and a little of the ceiling. The fireplace is HUGE i'm 5'7" and its a little taller than me(at the bottom mantle!) and we measured it at about 8 foot long! I just love this place.
