Wedding Decoration
MR & MRS :-)
I really wanted a MR & MRS sign for the top table but when you saw them in stores etc they were really expensive!!!
SO i got mine from EBAY in a celtic design (as i am welsh! lol) and they cost £22 GBP and i am going to spray them silver myself (well actually what i mean to say is my Dad will spray them silver for me! ha ha!) I cant wait to see these finished and in pride of place on our table and then they are something lovely for us to keep in our house on the fireplace- love them! |

Wedding Invitation
I didnt show you my invitations!
I cant believe i forgot to show you our gorgeous invitations, I was just in love with them!
We had the pocketfold style invitations which were made by a local company to me here in Wales and i got exactly what i wanted- black with hints of silver, and in beautiful script. We had a section for guest information- explaining to people about flights and accommodation as the wedding is abroad etc then we had a bit explaining the turkish and welsh traditions we would be having and then there was the RSVP slip for the guests. I then personalised the envelopes by typing out the names and addresses in a similar script and mounting them onto the envelopes, then i attached a piece of sparkle to the corner and then they were sealed with a wax stamp with our initials on them- what do you all think? |

Being 6'2 heels were really not the way to go for me!!!
as shown below i have bought an amazing pair of fuschia sex and the city style heels that i will have photos taken in etc but for the ceremony and dancing etc etc i have got these stunning blinged up gladiator sandals from Dune As soon as i saw them i knew they were perfect and very me- i live in sandals, especially gladiator style- living in a hot country i have become accustomed to sandals and flip flops! me and FH were out shopping and i saw these on a display and just loved them! So another thing sorted- plus i will now be shorter than FH in all my photos and i will be comfortable! BONUS they were from Dune and were £70 GBP |

Adult Bridesmaids
Their Dresses
SO i am only having 2 grown up bridesmaids- my MOH, my best friend Sarah and my Chief Bridesmaid, my cousin Emily. They are 19 and 25- very young girls and i didnt want them to look too bridesmaidy if you know what i mean?? lol
I wanted them to look cute and modern and wear a dress that they will wear again- didnt want the dress to be a waste of money! As our colours were black, white and fuschia we opted for the black for them 2 as its the most flattering for them and more likely they would wear again. We went for a beautiful, simple black cocktail style dress and we are going to vamp it up. We have got ivory silk sashes for around the waist whilst will be attached by a crystal brooch- really pretty and then they can remove the sash afterwards and they have a gorgeous LBD to wear anywhere! We got these dresses from www.very.co.uk and they were £59 GBP each :-) the girls love them and thats what counts |

Wedding Cake
I think i have decided!
SO after alot of searching and googling black and white cakes, and black white and pink cakes etc etc i have decided i love the look of the cakes with ribbon and brooches on- so pretty and classy looking i just love it!
The first pic, cake 1 is my favourite- exactly the colours i would have and then i would have some pink votive candles and some flowers or something on the cake table to introduce some colour into it all. The other pics are some other ones i like the look of but i DEFINITELY want a black ribbon :-) Cake 5 (the green one) is a pic of the style cake i like when we started looking- flowers between the tiers and a monogram on it- still like this idea but obviously in my colours- dont really think i can incorporate this and my ribbon / brooch idea as it will be too busy! However in picture 4, ? LOVE the diamonds hanging down from the bottom of the cake and i am thinking of trying to have this! In my head i imagine cake 1 with the diamonds at the base like in cake 4 picture- what does everyone think? I know our cake will be a show stopper as its going to be either 6 or 7 tiers! lol Any suggestions???? |

DIY Wedding
Before & After Flower Girl Dresses
SO when the January Sales came out in the shops here in the UK, me and my Mum went off shopping and found some beautiful ivory flower girls dresses, all in the ages we needed for my 4 little bridemsaids and for a fab price! Only problem? the flower corsage and petals in the hem were burgunday (not our colour) we needed fuschia- so what did we do???
Well we bought them and altered them ourselves!!!! We bought some gorgeous fuschia orchid clips from accessorize for £6 each, and then some cheap fuschia fake flowers which we tore all the petals off and put them in the hem, and HEY PRESTO, 4 new fuschia bridesmaids dresses for half the price!!! I have put the before and after pics of 2 of the bridesmaids, Bethan and Chloe :-) |

Wedding Dress
I'M GETTING MY DRESS TOMORROW!!!
After waiting nearly 5 months, i am finally going to try on my dress for its first fitting tomorrow!!!
I have been waiting for this for so long, and i dont just mean in the last few months, but every girl dreams about her wedding dress, don't they? PLUS, since i ordered my dress i have lost about 2 stone in weight :-) so i cannot wait to see how it looks! I AM SO EXCITED I COULD PEE RIGHT NOW LOL Will get some pics on here asap ladies!!! :-) |

My Gorgeous Groom
The Men's Suits :-)
As we are getting married in the garden of a hotel on the beach in a VERY HOT country, we decided against black for the men as i didnt want them passing out in the heat! plus i didnt want it too formal looking, so we decided to look for either beige, sand colour or light grey suits so me, FH, my dad and my mum all headed off shopping and found the most amazing store, called MOSS (you can either buy or rent the suits)
They have the most amazing range of designer suits at outlet prices so they had so much choice!!! They tried on 3 or 4 but this was the outright favourite, a gorgeous light grey Pierre Cardin suit, with a very modern style white shirt, and we found the fuschia ties which were the perfect colour in Marks and Spencers, a complete steal!!! The belt and shoes were also from MOSS Obviously being biased i think my FH looks AMAZING in it, and i cant wait to see all 4 men (FH, my dad, best man and FHs dad) all together! All i have left to get now are the cufflinks which i will get engraved, and the white orchid boutannieres. |

Wedding Hair Style
My hair for the Beach Wedding...
Being a very lucky girl, and having 2 WEDDINGS (beach wedding very modern on friday and then Traditional Turkish ball on the saturday night!) i need two different looks, i will be wearing the same dress but i thought i would go for a more casual, natural look for the beach wedding then an ultra glam look for the ball!
so here is the style i am having for the beach wedding, a bun to the side, all swept up and i will have my fringe (bangs) swept across my forehead- what does everyone think???? |
