A little while ago we signed a contract with our florist and made the decision that we wanted calla lillies as our flower. I just love their clean, elegant lines. You know, because I'm a super elegant kinda girl (not!). This is what we decided on with the florist:
~ Bride's Bouquet: 6 calla lillies with bear grass and galax leaves
~ Bridesmaids Bouquet: 3 calla lillies
~ Groom's Boutonniere: 1 calla lilly with bear grass, black ribbon and silver wire
~ Groomsmen & Father's Boutonnieres: 1 calla lily
~ Grandmother's Lapel Corsages: 1 small calla lily, 1 white rose
Our mother's decided that they didn't want corsages, which is fine by me.
I've spent the last little bit scouring the internet looking for the perfect pictures to give to my florist and I think I've finally found what I've been looking for!
(On top of the callas we'll be getting enough fresh red rose petals to scatter on each of the guest tables, cupcake table, guestbook table, etc...the centrepieces are provided by the venue so I don't have to worry about getting flowers for those)
