I called around to get the cheapest prices I paid 500.00 for my DJ 1000.00 for my photogrpaher we are not having a limo / our ceremony reception at the same site 700.00 for our cake (cupcakes) I think that the best thing you can do is find a resonable location. we are having ours at a winery and that is why ours got out of control. Good luck though sweetie :)
prices all depend on where you are located I found the following prices $550 for DJ $550 for photographer (they are husband and wife so they gave us a discount for booking them both) limo- still haven't decided if we are getting one or not. Depends how much we spend on other things Cake- I found a few that I'm trying to narrow down but its between $250-$275 and thats to feed about 200 people. I am also considering if you are having a huge wedding and you are on a tight budget for the cake order a smaller fancy cake and then order a big sheetcake and hand that out at the reception. It'll save a lot of money.
DJ is costing 500...That's an awesome DJ and Karaoke and party lights but no uplighting or gobos
Photographer is costing 700 but it's a steal for what we're getting
Cake is looking at around 300 I think...but we're making our own cupcakes and dessert bar and having a dummy cake
Limo's are stupid expensive. If yo're not transporting your entire bridal party look into renting a car from Budget of Enterprise. You can still get a nice ride but not blow a grand.
Prices vary depending on where you are. I'm in Tampa, FL. This is what we paid in October: DJ - $400 Photographer - $1500 Limo - $396 (inc tip) Cake - $0 (it was included in our @person price at the venue)
We negotiated a price at the venue for a 5-hour reception for 80 guests that included: hors d'ouevres and a display, sit-down meal, cake (they contract w/a local bakery & it was gorgeous!), table linens, chair covers & sashes, and valet parking. The price was only $73+surcharge & tax = $93 total.
Photographer - Won in a giveaway but paying for traveling fees $1500 (average cost with a nice package, quality would range between $2500 - $3500) it all depends on what you want and your style, etc.
Limo/Transportation - We haven't looked into this, probably using our car and having our wedding party drive themselves to the venue after getting ready, etc.
Cake - From our Publix Supermarket and cost under $300! Can't beat that! I have a $20 off coupon on my profile you can use if you pay for it before 4/30/11 if you decide to go w/ Publix.
If you need any other suggestions or help please message me! I feel like I've done so much research when hiring vendors! We managed to save a lot of money in Photography, flowers, our cake, and invites. My biggest advice to all recently engaged is to enter giveaways on wedding blogs! It has saved me and my fiance SO much money! Best of luck!
