This is roxy1122's Orange Wedding!

Hi ladies!! So I will be posting the pics of my wedding in July in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was at the Grand Palladium Bavaro resort and I want to do it all over again!

I created my own centerpieces and here are the pics. I got so many rave reviews on them I started my own little shop on Etsy.com

My colors were Orange so I found orange silk lilies, clear gem filler for the vases, Amber colored LED lights (waterproof ones) to immerse in the water filled vases, and floating candles to finish it off! I must say I was really excited at how they came out!

So I went BM dress shopping last weekend and all the girls fell in love with this dress and the color. I was not sure if they would like the orange but they did, it's so tropical and unique! :) Now I can coordinate their accessories and gifts to go with this dress for the big day :)

So after much planning and a little stress, I came up with a concept for the invitations. The passport and the RSVP card were created by a vendor who specializes in all types of invites, she was great. I purchased the pocketfolds to put the passports in, the RSVP envelope, and the cream colored envelope. I created the monogram stickers in PowerPoint and saved as an image, then purchased the round label stickers at Staples. I love how they came out :)

So after getting quoted thousands of dollars for a wedding in the U.S., my fiance and I casually mentioned doing a destination wedding. I didn't think this would be possible because I thought, would my family want to travel and it would be expensive, wouldn't it?

The more I thought about the more it made sense. First of all, I LOVE the beach and the warm weather. My fiance is from thw Dominican Republic and I had been to Puerto Plata in 2007 and thought it was a beautiful place. It has all I need, the beach, warm weather, plenty of resorts to choose from. When I was vacationing in Puerto Plata I met a bride who was having her wedding there! Who knew I would one day be planning my own destination wedding in DR!?

After getting in touch with resorts in the Caribbean and narrowing it down, we decided on the Grand Palladium resort in Punta Cana!
