Pro photos and the vows that made everyone cry

Hi loves! I just wanted to post some of my favorite group photos and coupled photos for you to see. We decided to write our own vows and though it made me SUPER nervous I am really glad that we did! It was magical and made me ball like a baby as well as everyone else. Here are the vows that we exchanged:

What he said:

I love you more than brownies, football and dinosaurs. I love the thoughtful notes you leave me to find, the passion you put into everything you do, and how much joy you get from the simple things in life. You are beautiful in all senses of the word. You are my best friend, the one I confide in and the one I turn to in times of turbulence.

Without you I felt lost and incomplete. I know now that I cannot live without you by my side. I want to make a promise to you and everyone here to be faithful to you, protect you and keep you safe, share my experiences, my love and my soul with you.

I want to see the world with you, wake up every morning with you and grow old with you. Together there is nothing we cannot do; there are no walls to tall, no waters too deep, no distances too far. I vow that when we are together we will be in the presence of love always.

What I said:

The day I met you my heart started racing, I got butterflies in my stomach and I couldnt stop smiling. Six and a half years later and none of that has changed. I love that I can look at you and know what you are thinking. I love that we are a constant reminder to each other not to take life to serious. You are so smart, funny, handsome, kind, athletic, and humbleI couldnt ask for a better person to spend the rest of my life with. I love that when you kiss me I get weak in the knees, when you hold me I feel safe and when I hear your voice I cant help, but smile. I am so excited to embark on this journey with you because where ever and whatever we do together I know it will be fun, exciting, slightly terrifying, full of sarcasm and love and will always turn out absolutely perfect for us. I am so excited that you have chosen me to grow old with because even more than I love you I love us together. Brandon, today I promise to cherish you, love you, respect you, laugh with you, cry for you, support you in your goals, continue to surprise you and just be there to stand beside you. I love you with all my heart.

They were beautiful and I really recommend sharing words that day...it is such a personal and amazing moment.

Thank you so much Aimee! You are too sweet! Everything turned out beautifully and I am so blessed to have had such a beautiful day. The best part is that my husband is not emotional at all, so when he cried when he saw me and then read these beautiful words everyone in the room couldn't believe it. I had people coming up all night thanking me for turning him into such an amazing man. It was very special.

I am so glad that you and your future hubby liked the ceremony...it was really unique and amazing how many of our guest are still complimenting us on it :) I know your ceremony will be beautiful and I can't wait to hear all about it! Brandy- If you can I totally recommend writing your own vows. I was lucky because I wanted to do it, but wasn't sure he would because he is so shy and then he brought it up. It was well worth hearing the beautiful words from his heart.

Wendy- Thank you so much that is so sweet of you to say that :) This site is wonderful because it is a place that I could come and put what I was thinking and what I was excited about that I couldn't share with anyone else. The best part is to get everyone's comments that show they are interested and care, which isn't always the enthusiasm you get talking to people when you are getting married.

Wow..isn't that the truth! Even your best friend has different opinions, and hearing negatives about something you really love is such a bummer! I'm glad we can all share here too!

Congrats girl! Your wedding looks like it was amazing! I definitely would have cried when you and your hubby read those vows as well! So touching! I wish I wasn't so darn shy and emotional...I would love to say personalized vows to my FH but I would be crying like a baby. Keep the pics coming!

Danielle- Thank you so much. I LOVE that photo too. We got so many photos. I am sure I am giving everyone pic overload, but I just want to give people advice and ideas, so a little for everyone :) The personalized vows are for sure scary and not for everyone.

Shayla hunny.. your & Brandon's vows are just amazing! And they are so similar to each others in some ways... the style of them match each other so well = like yourselves I guess!

Hannah you are so sweet! I was afraid our vows would be so completely different and they did end up slightly similar. I love that your best man cried during your vows...that is so incredibly sweet! They were certainly beautiful words!
