these colors may not sound like they go out trust once i put them together they are beautiful together!!!! his favorite color is BLUE and my family color is PURPLE. my oldest brother was killed at 19 and his fav color was purple and every since then is stuck with us!!!

the colours sound good hun, one thing i know is colours can be combined any how especially when we visualise them. The people im most inspired by when it comes to colour combination are the Nigerians! Nigerians will combine blue and yellow, purple and red, purple and blue, orange and blue and all these other colours for their weddings and the finished look is AMAZING and one wonders how they do it :) so go for it hunnie and its good you're incorporating your late brothers favourite colour. xox

I love the color combination. My FH's favorite color is blue and mine is purple. If I could go back I would change my colors to purple and blue, plus they are in the same color family.
