Wedding Reception
ohio reception!
We had the "reception" last weekend at our home in Ohio.
Just a really small reception with about 50 guests. We didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but here are the one we did remember take! My husband made the cake! (I put the ribbon on). The food was really good, the caterer even brought a bunch of extra food "on the house". Every thing went very well, and I am happy to say its all over! lol. Now... for the rest of my life...! |

I'm Married!
Just got back from my wedding in Las Vegas, NV!
I am so happy that everything went so perfectly! I'd recommend this place to all my friends! The Chapel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, and the photographer is great! I hired Christine Copeland from Fotolook.com for my hair and makeup, and I am completely satisfied! I was a little worried about spending so much money on the trial run and the day of the wedding, but it was worth every pretty! I think I looked gorgeous! We had dinner after the ceremony at the Bahama Breeze which is off the strip, and I had reserved the sunset deck. We had a large deck with a private entrance all to our selves so we could just relax and have a good time with our friends, the food was great, Exactly what I had hoped for! The weather in Vegas was 90 degrees and sunny! (in ohio it was cold, in the mid 40s, and rainy!) Here are a few pictures taken by my friends and family. |

Wedding Dress
Tried it on... its too big!
Tried on my dress the other day.. Realized that after all my dieting, its now too big in the top, and will have to go take it to get altered. Other than being too big in the bust area, and being loose in the back, I love the way it flows, and gently hits the ground. Nothing too fancy. :) Can't wait for shawn to see me in it.
I just wish that loosing weight didn't mean losing what little cleavage I had to start with. boo. I haven't posted any pics of me in the dress yet so I figured I'd snap a few. don't mind the messy room... Blah.. |

updates
OK, so first off, let me start by saying that I lost my MOH today. She will not be able to attend the wedding in Vegas. :( . Sad, yes, but at the same time I am happy for her. She is pregnant, and has some reservations about flying and all that, so I told her it was okay to stay home. She will still be involved with all the other planning, and parties out her in Ohio.
Next... Still no conformation that my other bridesmaid will be coming. She has had a tough year financially and just started a new job last friday. I hope to get a yes/no from her this week. On a positive note I purchased my veil! i like the light beading on the edge. still not too sure if i'll wear it or not, but I got it cheap so it will be ok If i don't end up using it. Also, I purchased my Cake topper. I got the one with out the crystals because they wanted double the price for the one with the crystals. I figured I can get crystals and put them on my self for less than 30 bucks. (hopefully... girls doing projects like this, where do you get these crystals at? and suggestions?) I ordered my shoes and my shot glasses a few weeks ago, but they haven't come in yet. Can't wait to get them! |

Diet Update!
Never thought I'd get this far!
In February I started to buckle down and focus on my diet. I was weighing in at 143 at that time, and then at 199 days to go I had mad it down to 136!
But today.. with 75 days to go, I hit the 127.5 lbs mark! when I got on the scale I thought it was wrong. I had to try it over and over again to make sure it was reading right. I was so excited!!!! I've continued to watch what I eat, and the lbs keep coming off. almost too easily. I had a scare in February, where the doctors thought I had blood clots in my lungs, at which point they took me off of my birth control. I think that has a lot to do with the weight loss. When my FH and I first started dating 5 years ago, I weighed 120-125 lbs. I've gained so much weight over the years, even If I was trying to watch what I eat, my weight just steadily went up and up and up. Although it was bugging the crap out of me, I just figured because it was because I was getting older, and I also quit smoking about 3 months after we started dating. (the weight gain started right after I quit smoking) With this weight loss, my dress doesn't fit at all in the top anymore... so unfortunately I will have to get it altered now. Here's hoping the weight stays off!!!! |
