I love bling! and so i was thinking of how to make chandelier centerpieces for our reception tabl...
I've been doing some experimenting with making different types of fabric flowers and think these are my fav.
They are really easy to make and think they turn out quite pretty, they can be used for loads of things too! I will be using them for decorating my bridesmaids totes and maybe make a few smaller ones to use for hairpieces.
So you will need the following:
Fabric - Satin/Chiffon (or any other you prefer)
* Using the pencil and compass lightly draw circles on your fabric in various different sizes then cut out.
*Make enough so you have sufficient circles for various flowers (i used about 12 circles per flower)
*Take each circle and using the heat from your lighter carefuly seal the edges of each to create your petals. (careful not to burn the fabric!)
*Once you have your petals ready arrange them into a flower shape by order of size and secure in place by sewing a few stitches through the middle.
*Add your pearls or button and your flower is ready :-)
Hope you find this useful and happy planning/DIYing!
