Cigar Bar
For the gentlemen
The latest addition to the wedding will be a cigar bar. I was looking for gifts for the groomsmen and thougt cigars would be nice for the goody bag. After talking to my future we decided that it would be nice for all of his friends to partake in a toast (smoke) of congrats. I've been ordering catalogs from catalogs.com in search of many things for the wedding. Under cigars they have the famous smoke shop. The prices are great and they have a large variety of flavored or non and small to large. I think I'm going to do both so the ladies who do smoke can join in as well. P.S the wedding is an outside wedding so no one will be smoked out.

Crystal Trees
I have always loved the designs from Preston Bailey and Colin Cowie that we all see on Oprah lol. I found a place that sales the trees for 40 bucks and the crystal strands are less than 2 bucks each. So i figure if i get at least six it will be a beautiful presentation. And then I can't decide if I want to make topiary trees or just flower balls to lay on the tables and just scatter candles throughout. These flowers are similar to what I want to do, but there will be different heights, sizes and shades of purple.

Wedding Flowers
Hyacinths and Alliums
I have fallen in love with purple hyacinths, they look like bells. I have yet to smell them but they are beautiful. The other purple puff balls I can't get enough of are the alliums. Both of these flowers are beautiful and come in many colors to choose from. I also want to incorporate the lavendar bushels some where. The flowers are so different but I have to have them all!!

Love Is
I can't get enough of the love is newspaper clippings. I found a cookie company that will print a different clipping on each cookie for 1.25 a piece. I also thought about getting those chocolate dipped fortune cookies and putting a clipping inside each one. Geez I can't wait!!!

I'm feeling the idea for the candy bar. I'm seeing this in alot of weddings and I think it would be fun for the kiddies and the adults. Candywarehouse.com has candy in every color even PURPLE lol and its not that expensive either.

I came across a website by the name of majesticgardens.com. They have the most beautiful presentation of signature wedding drinks. We will be having a pomegranate martini as well as a lemonade with purple food coloring for those who dont drink alcohol.
