Philly and I went looking at tuxedos this morning. We were a little worried about how to do it as all of our groomsmen live in Pennsylvania, and the only store they have here that they also have there is Mens Wearhouse, and we really didn't want to use them. They messed up every tuxedo in his sisters wedding last year, and when I looked at what they had in our colors, all there was was a paisley print that I really really didn't like!! So we thought we would check a local place out and see what they could do for out of staters.
We went in and they were wonderful!!! My question was if something doesn't fit, what do we do when our groomsmen don't get into town until the Thursday before the wedding. Their warehouse is only 20 minutes away, and they even offered to bring anything that was wrong to our wedding location if there was a problem, which they didn't foresee happening. Sold!!!! :) And they matched all our colors!!!
The first pic is the tux we chose for everyone, but it shows it with a purple vest. It was the lightest weight one they had, as we are having an outdoor ceremony in June. The second pic is the vest that they will all be wearing, groom included. It has the smallest almost polka dots in it which is an accent of our theme, yay!!
The third pic is what the grooms tie will look like, also with the pattern and the fourth is that pattern of the groomsmen, just a solid. The last pic is the vest Phillys Dad will wear, same pattern but in black and will be wearing the plain pink tie also.
We will have the best man wear a different bout to make him stand out a little bit. I was going to have Philly wear just black and white, but he wanted to wear pink since it's my favorite color. Awww!! And will actually work out great since my sash is pink!!! But he doesn't know that yet. ;)
Lastly we chose to have all the guys wear black shirts instead of the traditional white. I really like the look of it, and we joked that it would be a tribute to one of my faves, Johnny Cash, the man in black. HAHA. But that wasn't a deciding factor, I swear!! Lol.
We also bought his wedding band today!!! I'll post it later for you girls to see!!
