Bridesmaids

Dress shopping update.

Hey ladies!!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Mine wasn't QUITE as bad as I had feared. Thank you all for your support the other day, in making me believe that I wasn't being bridezilla!!! Lol.

So I get there and my Mom and cousin J are the only ones there. It was SOOOOO packed in there, I couldn't believe it!!! So I had them pull Js size so we could at least get that started. I told her to start trying them on, and to rule any out that she hated, lol. She did rule out one, so that helped!! Lol. There were two that she really liked, so we set them aside.

My sister T got there and she tried on certain dresses, and had to go up two sizes, no biggie, here ya go. Those dresses always run small.

I realize my other sister(MOH) isn't there yet, so I call her, she thought the appt was at 130, not 1130!!!! So she felt really bad, but rushed in after I called. :) She already has her dress, so no biggie.

So FINALLY, cousin K gets there. Yes, the one I warned you all about, lol. Mind you, an hour late.

The lady asks her what size jeans she wears. She replies "I don't know." REALLY??? Who the hell doesn't know?!? So the lady asks her to guess, she starts huffing and puffing and tells the lady she has no clue, just buys them, and to just go get her something. So I follow the lady and apologize. It really was embarrassing.

So she tries on one dress, tells me the dress is awful and won't zip. So I look at it and tell her she just needs a bigger size. She FREAKS out and tells me that she is not going up to a size X because she's not that fat. Mind you, my super sensitive sister is in the next room trying on exact size X. So I just went "ssshhh" and put my finger to my mouth. K yells "I can't say anything right" and starts to shut the door. Here is where you all will be proud of me, lol. I grab the door, pull it open and tell her "I am NOT doing this today!!!" I'm telling you that right now." So she stopped for awhile.

Then we had it narrowed down to two dresses. Well one of my BMs is in Philadelphia, and she is the biggest, so I asked the girls which they thought she would be most comfortable in, and I also sent her pics of the dresses. She replies that she thinks they are too low cut. It must just be the pic, because they really aren't.

So they finally all decide on the dress in the picture I posted, but in black. I really like it, it is actually longer than the pic shows, it's just below the knees which SHOULD keep K happy, lol.

The one in Pennsylvania is really worried about it being too low cut, but she is going to try it on this week, hopefully that changes her mind.

I also had to check to see when the girls need to order them by, and the lady said mid Feb, LATEST end of February, but she wouldn't wait that long. So K threw a fit about that. She insists that she will be 5 dress sizes smaller by the time of the wedding. Who cares?????? I wish people would just be happy with themselves.


There's also an issue with shoes, but I'll explain that in a different post bc I want you alls opinions. So it did go well, and I had fun. I wish it would've been more fun, but obviosuly I can't have everything.

I do wish I wouldve gone with my first thoughts, and not had a couple of the girls in the wedding. I wish I wouldve just stuck to my sisters and cousin J. But I can't change that now, so I'm just hoping that me telling her that she hurt my feelings worked. Time will tell.
