DIY Wedding

Card box is finished!!!

I finally finished the card box, YAY! Took me forever to paint the helicopter and flip flops, only because I had to use the smallest paintbrush ever for the details!!! I know it looks pretty "busy" but the fun look is what we are going for! :) And still the best part is that Philly and I did it together. Our next project together is a lollipop tree. :)

I also took pics of the little boxes I found at the dollar store. I plan on filling each one with each bridesmaids favorite candy and putting them in their bags, which is the next picture. I got these bags for $3.99 a piece at hobby lobby. I was pretty excited. And they're the perfect size for all their goodies, and for them to use the day of the wedding for their shoes, make up, etc.

The next picture is the bag for the flower girls, also a $1 a piece, believe it or not at Office Depot. lol. It has pink flowers and hearts on it and says Happiness comes from the heart. :) They will have the wedding outtfits from Build a Bear, a flower girl bear and a picture frame that says their special part in our day. I think I'll add the flower candy necklaces too. Just some ideas. Our flower girls will be 3 and 7, so they will be so excited.

There is also a picture of a mock up of the candy buffet. I'm planning on adding some boxes underneath for more levels, but this was just on my kitchen table. :)
