Beach Theme: Our Petal Runner

 ~Our Renewals~ Our Petal Aisle Runner Step One Wow, this is really a process! LOL It will take more than one person for sure. It is a crazy project and very time consuming. Now the weather is nice, I decided that this is the perfect opportunity to start on this project. Thanks to my crafty darling daughters in picture #4, they really helped with the first steps. Alert!!! Make sure it's not a breezy day. Make sure it's not to hot outside. Make sure to do this outdoors, because of the spray adhesive will make you light headed. LOL First we had the tulle laid out and worked our way down to the other end during the process. 1, Sprayed the adhesive on the tulle with a box underneath it so it wouldn't kill our grass. 2. Had one of the girls apply the petals on the sprayed area. (What we learned is, you will need to spray about 3 inches at a time to make sure the petals will stick. Some will fall off still. ) Hands will get sticky...Ewwwww! 3. I know that others used a blow dryer to make it dry faster, but it was nice outside so it dried pretty fast anyways. 4. Move down and repeat steps. -ohhh, my aching back! LOL We are not finished with our petal runner. We are adding lighter pink, ivory and orchids to the runners. So...stay continued for Step Two photos...       |

~Our Renewals~ How do you feel about children bring at your weddings/receptions? Even though this is our 4th wedding and renewals we have chosen to not have kids at our destination wedding. This time it's more intimate and more of an adult affair. This time around, our guests have received their pre-invites way in advance and responded back with, is it okay that our 15-18 year old son/daughter come to the wedding? Ummmmm we have children ourselves and they are not coming to the destination wedding! What is the age limit that children should not come to the wedding? How would you tell them, NO!!! |

~Our Renewals~ So, last week I blogged bout dress picks number 1! I want a beach theme type of ivory gown for our Maui destination, but I am gathering a few so when I go try these babies on, I will have back up options! I know there wil be some tummy issues right now, but I'm working on that right now. 3 kids later, LOL I gotta get this right. Hehehehe So here is #2. Love the fitting on the top torso on this one to help SUCK in the tummy more that the flow free one below this blog. |

~Our Renewals~ Now that we are officially in the year countdown- 340 days..., I have been focusing on my choice of wedding gowns. I have a craving of something like this in ivory with the lower back cut.... Since our wedding destination is Maui, Hawaii...I prefer something sleek, soft and warm weather themed. I really love these gowns here. I don't want a puffy style dress. That was for our Tiffany theme the last time. :-) Gotta work on the belly area, but this is craving I'm looking for. sigh...... |

~Our Renewals~ Hello girls! Been gone for a while with lots of rest and chilling with hubby from our anniversary on May 1st. Thank you all for the anniversary comments. You guys are so sweet!!!! During our time together, we did mail off the Passport Invites on our anniversary. I also mailed off my MOH special purse invite. She received it a week later in Arizona and called me so excited. She previously knew about being my MOH,but I wanted to send her this with the invite as confirmation. As noted in the invite, Hubby and I decided to pay for her 2 days and a massage with me on my special day. She said, "YES!" We have 346 days left until our Maui, Hawaii renewals. |

~Our Renewals~ Hey my WBC family! I've been a little hush- hush lately. Our 14th wedding anniversary was on Wednesday and the celebration continues. I'm sneaking this in right now while he's snoring away. Hehehehe Miss my addicted butt from ya'll blogs! Shhhhh!!! Well, our countdown officially started on Wednesday, May 1st. 1 year and counting till our Maui, Hawaii wedding! We sent out our Passport invites that day and some have received them already. They are so over excited about them and we did a marvelous job together creating them. I must say, we mailed out 30 and 5 called and confirmed already! Well, hubby and I are off for the weekend starting in a few hours. Smiling. He has a surprise for me? See you guys next week! One Love! |

~Our Renewals~ Let me pull my hair out. LOL Hubby has been so helpful with our Passport invites and Luggage Tags. The tags will be the R.S.V.P's for our guest responses for the destination wedding. After printing them out and cutting, I noticed that we had the wrong dates on them for next year. YIKES!!! Darn it! We are exhausted now, LOL Back to square one tomorrow. Nighty-Nite!! |

~Our Renewals~ Yayyy! Almost ready to be mailed out in two weeks! LOVE THEM!!!! Hubby and I worked really hard on these babies! We are coming up with the R.S.V.P. tickets for these right now...will post later.... The pink ones are for the ladies and the ivory ones are for the men! As you see, there are two different sizes. The shorter ones are for the men guests and the regular size ones are for the women. My hubby says that men really don't like bulky stuff, but us women do. (just kidding)...LOL We already have enough things going on for the reception already. BUT, WHO SAYS THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN? Only in the privacy of our condo in Maui. ~Our Renewals~ For Our Sparkler Walk Hubby and I separated the pack of sparklers into twos for the tagging and ribbon process yesterday. Each guest will get 2 of 36 inch Sparklers. Our monogram was done by our WBC sister Shannypoohdesigns aka MrsHtobe. Hubby and I made up the verse to our special Sparkler Walk. The 36 inch sparkler last approximately 3-3 1/2 minutes, you only need 1 or 2 per guest! The 3-4 minute sparkle time for each 36 inch wedding sparklers allows you to light the sparklers, arrange the guests and still have time for the perfect sendoff! |

I've started this newer blog because my other blog has well over 19 pages, LOL. Our May 2014 wedding will be more intimate, private by invitations only. Not large than the other 3 weddings we had. This is my husband, Rodrick's dream this time, an Island Wedding. He wanted it to be red and black, but I talked him into the tropical colors of Fuschia and Ivory. Possibly with some accents of lavender, orange and lime greens. We shall see? Incorporated in the decor will be shells, pearls with a touch of vintage love and some bling.
