I absolutely LOVE this dress and when I tried it on, I knew I was destined to wear it. Every dress I tried on after that just could not match up. I initially tried it on at Macy's on 34th St in NYC. The price tag was $1350 with 9% sales tax. Since I travel South often I decided to purcase the dress in Delaware where there is no sales tax. I ended up getting a quote for $870!!!! Im going to pick it up this weekend 6/14/08!! Ill post a picture of what it looks like once I get it.

Added a couple teaser pics. I will post more wedding pics later. The dress looked AMAZING!

OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! I first saw it in a catalog and have been on a crazy search for it ever since! I am in Ohio and there are plenty of Demetrios vendors around me, but none have this dress (at least that i've found). Good luck on getting this and I be you will look beautiful in it! CONGRATS!

Hey there - how did you go on ordering your dress through Bridaldiscounters.com ??

I tried this dress on the other day in a bridal store in Australia, it was the second dress I tried on and I must admit it was stunning!! The store wanted $2700 AUD for it !!  our wedding isn't until Feb 2009 so I have plenty of time if I do buy of the internet?? But just wondering how you found ordering your one off line??

How was your experience with the website? And at what price did you get the gown?  I tried this on in a macys and they wanted $1200-1300 i believe...  I like it because its soo different! And I'm having the more casual wedding too and the material was lightweight if I remember correctly!

I just bought this yesterday off the rack and I absolutely LOVE it!  We are getting married in September and I am anxious to see what a "real" person looks like in the dress :)  Congratualtions to you!

Hi ladies! I recently tried on this dress and thought it was perfect! I wanted to buy it on the spot... but the dress was just over budget. This is my dress too--you've got good taste! ^_~  I can't wait for mine to come in--your pictures just reminded me how excited I am to try it on again!  After reading your post though, I know I definetely got ripped off on the price and I had to special order it to my height so that was extra $$$!  Anyway, you look lovely, enjoy your dress, I know first hand the pictures just don't do it justice!

I will have the same dress :) I love it soo much Is yours White on White or White Multy??? I will mostlikely go with Ivory Multy and a French Bustle...Geting it on Netbride which is MUCH cheaper than Macys...

The average price I found on this dress was $1180 so I took your advice and called the boutique in DE. The price is so low I have to question it. Was it AUTHENTIC????? When I called the boutique she assured me it was and said she orders it directly from Demetrios... why is it sooo low? You know the saying: If it sounds to good to be true it probably is???? I am hoping this isnt the case... cuz if it isnt I am calling and ordering this dress immediately! :)
