Ask a Question
Glasses or No Glasses?

This is really for the ladies who wear glasses, but are you wearing your glasses or wearing contacts for you wedding? My mother wants me to wear contacts because my glasses shield my face. It doesn't matter to me either way, I still look the same lol.

Personally I've had lasiks and had pretty bad vision so even with thiners my lenses were thick so I hated wearing them. I think on a special day you should do your contacts, that way you avoid the glare from the flash, they may fog up if you cry too. Soooo I so contacts for sure!! But take you glasses as back up in case you cry out a contact lol!!

I stopped wearing my glasses about 2 years ago. I now wear airoptic contact lenses, which are super comfortable. I would say wear contacts like justmeandhim said. The glasses tend to give off a glare in pictures. But, the choice is yours, whatever makes you confortable, hun!!

I wear glasses and contacts, and am choosing to wear contacts for the wedding. My sister in law wears her glasses every day, so she wore her glasses for her wedding, but took them off for a few picutres, so she had some of both. If you have never worn contacts, I would try them out a few months before the wedding. Either way you will look great!! Do what you are comfortable with. :)

I wear glasses more often than not, but on the wedding day probably not, however definitely want to wear them for some of my bridal portraits!

I've been thinking about this too. I haven't worn my contacts in about 4 or 5 years. Mostly due to allergies and not being able to leave them in long. But if I take my glasses off for any reason, I may as well have a seeing eye dog for the day!

I have some super cute frames that fit our color scheme, so I think I might go no glasses for the ceremony and pictures and then take them out after the party gets started.

I think the most important thing is to look like you! you don't want to look like a totally different person the day of the wedding. So if you switch up often, I say, go with whatever is going to give you the best photos.
