It came and went perfectly!
Hey ladies!!
Our wedding has come and gone..and I loved every minute of it!! I had so much fun and everything was so beautiful! I am posting some of the pics my aunt took (she wants to be a professional) but they pro pics are just in so it will be a few days! I hope you are all enjoying the planning process..I miss it slightly, but Im relieved its over! Soon to come is lots for sale! Updates!
Ok so in my last post I was venting about my wedding dress not coming in yet. IT ARRIVED! On Wednesday afternoon..and it fist perfectly! Oh thank god! All I need is a bustle and some pads for my girls and wala! I will have it back by tomorrow! I cant wait!!! I have my card box partially done thanks to my mom, we set up our candy buffet as a trial and we need one more candy for a dish still..and my grandmother comes to town tomorrow and she is dieing to help so I will put her to work on my pomander balls! I cant believe there is only 4 days left to go..its amazing..so much time, hard work and planning and its right around the corner! I hope you ladies are all enjoying your planning..!! Lots of love! Wedding Dress
I am freaking out..
Ok so I mentioned a few posts back that my dress came in and it was the wrong color so the woman sent it back and was guaranteed by the CEO of the company my dress comes from that it would be here by the two week mark before my wedding..that was yesterday. Still no dress..I did receive a call from her on Thursday saying that my dress was in customs, it comes from the designer over seas, then it has to go New Jersey for a final review and then she will have it expedited here...umm..my wedding is 13 DAYS AWAY!! And I don't know if it will be here in time..I don' know what to do!!? She said she set the sample aside that I tried on in case my dress doesn't make it, but it is like 2 or 3 sizes to small..the did the whole clip in the back so I could try it on..so that's not going to work..I can honestly say this is the only thing that has caused my stress..writing this makes me tear up...any advice from you ladies on what I should do? Do I sit tight and hope it makes it here? Do I look elsewhere for an off the rack? I'm running out of time..and I am really at a loss on what to do..thanks ladies!

What ring do you wear!
Ok ladies..so this is just one of those questions I have heard a few answers to so I need to help from all of you! So we all have a our engagement rings and when we get married we have the wedding band.Are you supposed to wear your engagement ring during the ceremony and he puts the wedding band on top of that or does he put both rings on or just the band and if its just the band where does your engagement ring go? AGGHHH!!! Help! Lol..so any advice would be appreciated girls!

6 WEEKS LEFT!!!!
Its coming so quickly!
So..as I crossed off the day yesterday on our calender I realized that was our 6 week mark! I cant believe it's finally almost here! I checked out my "to-do" list that started at 2 pages long at the beginning of my wedding planning, and there is so much already done! Quite a relief..but I feel there is still plenty to do! including some DIY projects I have been putting off..yikes!! I hope all of you ladies who are nearing your date are enjoying every moment including the frantic ones!! I cant wait to get all these projects done and post some pics for you wonderful brides to be!! Good luck with all your planning!!!

Hi ladies!! So Im sure you ALL know and love etsy as do I! Its such a fun website especially during the wedding planning..there is always something on there I want to get...my favorites list is finally down to one page..phew!! These are some of my recent purchases!!!
1.) The door hangers for the getting ready rooms and for the honey moon night..so cute! 2.) My "something Blue" stickers for my shoes!! 3.) My soon-to-be t-shirt..my mom sewed on the bling, cause I love my bling ladies! 4.) My sparkly iron-ons..not totally sure what Im ironing it onto yet. Originally I saw a bridal set where the last name was on a tank and the est date was on some boy shorts, very cute! But now idk if I want to sit on rhinestones lol..so we will see! Plenty of other purchases to come...!! |

Thanks to mrstatortot for this idea! I couldnt decide between flower poms or tissue poms..the flower version, both faux and real were super expensive! I purchased 1 tissue version but it felt so birthday party and not so much wedding so when I saw the post by another WBC bride I had to try it to see if this would be a great alternative..and it is!!! Im doing them in fuchsia and black to line the aisle and then do solid black, fuchsia, and white for inside the venue! Lots of work but sooo worth it!!

Wedding Budget
How Much do I tip?
Ok ladies I need some advice here..
We have an all inclusive venue. Our florist, baker, dj, food, and photography is all included in our package, oh and the open bar. So here is my question..do I tip the DJ and Photographer and Bartender? And if so..how much? The ceremony is 5 hours at night with about 80 people..how does this work since I dont know what everything costs seperately..! Thanks for any help/advice in this area. |

Its Wrong!!!
Ok..deep breath..AARRGGHH!!!!
So I get a call from my beloved lady at the dress shop where I got the girls BM dresses from and my wedding dress from. She tells me the girls dresses are in and mine came in too. (Eeek So excited since it wasnt supposed to be in until March) Then she proceeds to tell me not to panic, but she had to send it back..WHAT??!! She goes on to tell me that she took care of it and it will be in 2 weeks before my wedding. O M G!!! What to do what to do..so I went in to pick up the girls dresses and find out what happened with mine.. It came in in white, its supposed to be Ivory..honestly I would love to have seen it in white, yes I loved the ivory, but how bad would ithave been? And now I have to wait, hope, and pray it comes in right on time and that any alterations can be done with a quickness... So my only stress is what if there is another hiccup and it doesnt make it on time or its the wrong color again? What do I do then? I have decided not to entertain this thought longer than a day..because at this time, what can I do? No need to worry..but I had to vent to you ladies... |

Hey ladies! So I posted a while ago for some ideas since Im not really a super girlie girl when it comes to dressing up. Other than my wedding dress I dont own a single dress, not even a skirt! So when I saw this dress online I fell in love, I was a little surprised at myself. I went to the store today and tried it on...I LOVE it..I bought it right then and there, no one around for a second opinion or anything lol. I also bought a really cute 3/4 sleeve cropped sweater with little ruffles in black to wear with it..cant wait! Oh and I showed FH and he loved it too!!! Yay!!
