Wedding Favors
Favors Done...almost

THE FAVORS! OY OY OY!! Thank you tasha for that word as it fits perfectly when speaking about favors.

Finally decided on a favor: boxes with a bottle of wine, a hand decorated (a professional hand, not Nidhal's hand) chocolate bark in one of 3 options (Milk Chocolate with toffee bits, White chocolate & Orange Cream, or Dark Chocolate Key Lime & Coconut Swirl). These will also be the escort cards hence the "almost" complete part. I still have to figure out the seating chart and then I will attach a tag to each of these with guest name and table number.

Almost there...at least I am finished assembling these which wasn't super easy since the bottle of wine didn't fit so I had to hand cut a round hole in each box, tie a silver ribbon and assemble the whole box thing. This was a 2 day project...

LOL!!  I am doing my favours the week before the wedding with my sister and I know that I will just want them to be done when we start them.  I have to assemble each box, fill with something...not sure what yet, and then hand tie a ribbon on each and then glue a flower on it.  It is going to be a long process....haha.  At least you are almost done them :)

classy favors! I LOVE them...but they look expensive! how much did they cost if you dont mind me asking? I know your made of money haha but im just curious. I think its a great idea. I was going to do wine favors originally and bottle my own mini bottles of port but I opted for wine gums????? hahahahahhaha its so funny when i say it out loud.

D- Let's see, I haven't done the math. The wine bottles I found at World Market (not sure if they have that in canada) for $2.49 each and the chocolates I was able to get for $5 for 3 pieces. I have roughly 78 guests to receive favors. The boxes were $53 for 100, and ribbon & Favor tags (that I will put guest names and table numbers on) were like $15 or so about $385 roughly. Ouch...that sucks. lol!! I like being in the dark better than crunching numbers. :]
