Discovered from coordinator (bless her heart) that I needed reserved signs for a few rows during the ceremony for family...makes sense. Want those guys at the front :) In fact I am having the bridal party sit during the service cause Matt ordered a baby grand piano to house itself in the corner and it may be congested. And then the next few rows on either side will be reserved for sisters, moms, dad, grandparents, etc.
Just did a simple DIY here. Printed the signs on cardstock, cut them out, put slits on either end and put the ribbon through. The coordinator will tie these on the ceremony chairs (chiavari) so the ribbon is horizontal. Depending on the chair, you may go vertical with the ribbon.
Maybe I should do these up quick as well... Lors knows I have enough cardstock lol
It;s just so family can be up front and other guests don't take up the first rows leaving mom, sis and grandma in the back becuase they may be busy helping till the last minute. This was a super fast and easy DIY. Another option is to just rope off the first few rows (or should I say "ribbon off"). We will let our immediate families know verbally that the "reserved" rows are for them.
I actually tried to figure out ways to do mine this weekend, but we're having pews... :( Still stumped. I may do them to my chairs at the reception just as an extra decor thing!
