3. I was born and raised in The Bronx and Moved to FL in 2005

1) I am an only child
2) My eyes are turning from dark brown to grey as I get older

1-I used to play with Barbies, like everyday. And I made their "houses" out of crates until I got a real Barbie House for Christmas. By that the time my parents gave in, I was in 8th grade, hahaa! And I sat my big self up & played with it too, lol.
2- I am a CHINESE Food fanatic. Not any Chinese food, but most.
3- I have one brother & one sister.

2. I grew up playing at the house behind Bryan's as a kid. We'd even go to the fence and taunt their dogs lol

1. My 2 older brothers and myself are adopted from when we were 6 weeks old.
2. I live in a state where its capital is the most isolated capital city in the whole world. (takes about 2 days non stop drive to get to the nearest)
3. I used to hold a national ranking in wakeboarding.

lol the ranking was years ago (back in my hay day! under 21 section) lol
We wernt adopted together. My brothers are 3 and 6 years apart from me. My middle brother and I actually are half brother and sister with both the same mum but differant dad. My birth mother asked that I could be adopted into the same family as my half brother so we could be together.

1) I love to travel and spent a lot of time in australia/ s.e asia...but have been to many more countries and more to come! (Perth, Australia is my fav city of all time lol) and India is my must go to place!

2) I hate socks! I hardly even wear them in the winter when the snow is up to my waist lol

3) I have a balloon phobia... well not balloons themself, just when the pop or the thought of them popping...even when people hold them I get major anxiety lol

1. I like having order and schedules in my life. I'm really into my routines, meals, workouts, work you name it...I like having order in my life not obsessed about it though
2. One of my life goals is to visit every Caribbean island
3. I love butterflies and hummingbirds...

This is such a great idea!

1~ I love planning & being organized but it seems I can't ever get there!
2~ I didn't get any stretch marks during my pregnancy & I pretty much slept through my 'labor' so I'm scared to have anymore kids because I know it will be bad the 2nd time.
3~ I LOVE Desperate Housewives!!

1. I have 3 boys(4,5 and 7) my oldest one I had with my ex-husband whom I found cheating on me with my "best friend" when I was 8 months pregnant, while I was completely lost/at my worst I met my soon to be husband and he showed me over the course of 6+ yrs that everything happens for a reason.

2. I'm the most disorganised person in the world except when I'm planning something like a trip or the wedding I switch to over-planning, crazy, perfectionnist, color charts and neet folders wierdo hahaha!

3. I used to secretly write stuff on papers to get things off my chest, burn and flush them so no one reads it, till my MOH caught me lolll and started smacking me and said " Open a blog stop burning trees you idiot, you think I don't know you, life does'nt pause when your writing and your bathroom as been smelling like pot-pourri and burnt paper for the past 10 years. :)

1: I have this weird liking for opening the mail, even e-mail. But I HATE responding. I just like getting news.

3: My FH's name is Chris and my name is Christa. He calls me "Chris" but with T and A (tits and ass) lol

deneanrae- i spent 3 months in Australia this fall and one month in NZ.. loved every minute of it. I didn't get to Perth. though I heard it was amazing.

1. I grew up in rural southern Ontario, where you have to drive 20 minutes to hit a stop light.
2. I am currently training for a half marathon and am terrified.

1. My Best Friend Sam And My FH Jeff Were IN The Same Army Unit. We Started Dating When I Was Depressed Over My Ex.
I Gave Up My Condo And Slept On Sams Couch. The Same Time, Jeff And His LanLord Got Into It And He Ended Up On THe Other Couch.

2. I LOVE Animals. Im Going To School For Animal Behavioralist To Train Assistant Dogs.

1) My favourite foods are Middle Eastern, sushi and pasta and I could eat anyof them everyday! Except now - no pasta on the Paleo diet. I really don't like Indian food often - too heavy and Sri Lankan food is a bit too spicy! LOL
2) I love to read - I am a book monster, and I read ridiculously fast. I don't know why!
3) I lived in Canada most of my life but I was born in Sri Lanka and came when I was 2, then went back to Sri Lanka for a year in high school which was super cool - I went to school with a lot of worldwide diplomats and I learned so much about so many countries. It was amazing. I went back in the middle of university to 'find myself' lol and I worked with a NGO that worked with domestic violence victims. Those times spent in the motherland lol, were among the most amazing of my life. My eyes were open to so much.

3 - My FH and I lived 5 minutes away from eachother our whole lives, went to the same high school (even the same university for 1 year before I moved to the city) and had a lot of mutual friends...and we didn't meet until three years ago.

Schnoukys- awww!! I love the idea of writing and flushing (despite the paper waste). We used to do that in my classroom. If a kid had a complaint (not urgent ones), they had to write it down and place it in the fishbowl. Usually it made them feel better right away!

sparrack- You can do the half marathon!!! Just train and pace :) It will be so great! I ran a full marathon last year (trained for 6 months) and it was life-changing! And I am the furthest thing from being athletic!

crazyvintagebride - How awesome to train assistant dogs!! That must be soemthing that brings fullfillment!!

At Tashasitas request: (I already posted 5 so I didn't want to over-indulge...lol!!

1. I trained for nearly 7 months and ran a full marathon last year in San Francisco and personally raised over $2500 for AIDS. I am not athletic, never did a sport growing up but just decided one day that I wanted to do something. I was bored. It was the best thing that I ever did, changed my life.

2. For me it was love at first sight. I pursued Matt for 2 years before he liked me back :) We fell in love in a hospital. Matt was hospitalized for 3 months and I would take board games and visit him and that's when he says he fell in love with me!! I like to think I had him cornered...ha!

3. I hated my ethnic name growing up so when I was naturalized at age 10, I chose to add a middle name of "Nicole" which I never identified with. I just got rid of it when we applied for a marriage license!

So cool on the marathon, I wanna do that by the time I am 35! I am not athletic either! But Mark motivates me! Sooo cute that you pursued Matt - knew a good thing when you saw him. And HOW cute on the board games :)

1. I hate close toed shoes... I live in flip flops and open toed high heels with jeans. I own wayyyy tooooo many heels! lol

2. I'm ecstatic to get married, but the roles were kinda reversed with Hobie and I at first... I was more like the bachelor guy going.. am I sure I want to settle down?? hahah And Hobie was like.. lets get married and make babies!

3. I'm a board game aholic. I'd make dinner and dessert and have friends over for margarittas and board games vs going out to a bar or club any night of the week!

bride2beaug2010 my fh and i are also highschool sweethearts. we started dating when we were 16. I think its crazy that I wasnt even going to go to the school i went to and my dad wanted us to change schools so i ended up going there and he was friends with some of mine and we never would have met if it wasnt for them. we didnt hang out together, i was part of the band group he was part of the "ditch class and go play golf and watch jerry springer" group lol i was the good girl he was the bad boy and we are so compatible its crazy.

nidhal i love how not only do you just read everyones but you also comment back. youre such a sweetheart!

ok mine are: 1) i have a major bug fobia. im not talking about like omg a bug get it away, i mean im deathly affraid. like i cant even kill one with a fly swatter cause thats too close too it. and the bug can be as small as fruit fly i dont like any not lady bugs not butterflys.(ill look at them in pictures or fropm a distance but dont come near me!) spiders are the absolute worst. i screem i run and i call someone to kill it or get rid of it or whatever! i probably need therapy for that haha!!!

2) im basically obsessed with planning my wedding. its so much fun and its started to consume me. ive tried to cut back but i absolutely love it. i love diy-ing everything it relaxes me. this wedding is actually my first attempt at any diy projects.

3) i have severe depression. so bad that the next time i go into the doctor i have to find out if its bi polar. ive had it since i was..... oh man like 13? almost ten years. its really bad and i would give my life for my FH for having to put up with the major mood swings. which is one reason why he lets me talk about and do so much with the wedding cause it keeps me happy and my mind off of other stuff. just sitting around makes it really bad cause i think constantly my depression is based off of something thats happened its chemical i get it from both sides of my family.

makeupdiva87- I despise bugs too. I get really nervous around even looking at bugs in magazines. It turns my stomach! And as for the depression part (I'm just really happy that you have the wedding to focus on as a point of happiness)!! I will be praying for you casue that's what I can do :)

babygirlnaenae- I have a ridiculous amount of shoes too and most are open open open! I own so many flip-flops, it's sick actually. HA!

Super awesome idea nidhal :) It's fun to learn a few things about the ladies who blog here!

Here are my three little bits:
1. Roughly the same time every year, I have an extreme urge to pack everything I own and relocate. So extreme that it makes me rather irritable for about a month (my grandmother used to say that it was the "gypsy" blood that ran on my grandfather's side :P).
2. I swore up and down while I was growing up that I would never have children and never get married. (Probably due to #1 :P) I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks after highschool graduation. I thought my life had ended. Now I wouldn't change a thing about how it's all played out. My children are my shining lights in "foggy weather".
3. Up until I was 17 I competed in vocal competitions and attended "choir camps". Singing was my "thing".

Fun idea! Love all the fun facts on here. Grateful, I played with Barbies til I was in 8th Grade too. :)

Here's some really random facts about me.
1. In my opinion, Cold Stone Creamery is the best place ever; it's right up there with Disney World. Seriously. Cake Batter Ice Cream is the best stuff in the entire universe.
2. I love to make grocery lists, and then never refer to them while I'm shopping.
3. I demand cuddle time from the Mister. He calls me his "cuddle slut." And our dog Chloe is an even bigger cuddle slut than I am. She learned from the best, what can I say?! :)

These are all so funny!!! You and tashasita come up with some of the best posts! LOVE!!!

1) FH and I don't have kids (yet), but we're Scout leaders and soccer coaches and both LOVE to spend time with little ones.

2) I've travelled to fifteen countries thus far. Our honeymoon will consist of another twelve as we plan to re-do our vows on every continent YAY!!!! I can't get enough of Utila (Hondurus), London (England), and Prague (Czech Rep.) I have serious wander-lust....

3) I think I have mild OCD. None of my food can touch and other type of food on the plate. I have to chew evenly on both sides of my mouth when I eat sweet things, I have to drive 3kms over the speed limit on highways, and I check the locks about five times before bed. My mom says they're nervous ticks......

4) Just because I think its the cutest thing ever, I need another one: My parents have been together since they were fourteen and continue to find things they love about eachother everyday. I want to be just like them :)

Also, I find it encouraging how many brides-to-be have children already! My MOH just had her first child and is living with the father. She seems to think that now she has no chance of he becoming a bride in the future because of this. I will be sure to pass on all of your happy stories of either marrying your childrens dad down the road, or falling in love with an amazing man who is prepared to love you AND your kids! It's inspirational!!!

About me-
1) Andy and I worked in same department (almost in same lab) for almost 2 years before we actually "met" and I asked him out when I realized we both like each-other.
2.) I can live on fruits for weeks.
3.) little sad, I was a victim of domestic violence (I lived in a bad relationship for almost a year before I left him), although my ex and I've been divorced for 4 years, i'm still in legal battle with him. He kept on harassing me emotionally after I left him so I had to filee case against him- good thing, the court made him pay me compensation for all what he did to me. I'm writing a book based on those facts, ofcourse with Andy's help.
4) I want to have kids ASAP.

1.) I HATE clowns!!! I mean HATE them. I punched one in the face at a haunted house because he wouldnt get out of my face. After I punched him I ran to the car and waited for everyone to finish. This is all because when I was younger I sneaked in the living room behind the couch and watched "it", I still walk around/jump over sewers or manholes in the ground!!! SCARY!!!!

2.) I love AMUSEMENT parks and become kind of a BULLY if my family doesnt ride. I dont mean to but dang suck it up and have fun. LOL My brother forced me to ride roller coasters in the very front and I was not allowed to scream!!! URRRRRGGG BIG BROTHERS lol

3.) I still can not go to sleep until I have checked evey door in the house. All closets and bathrooms have to be shut. Everything has to be locked. I check windows as well.

This is an awesome idea!

1) I'm the youngest of 10...only two brothers the rest are sisters!!
2) I'm such a girlie girl...but i'm also an officer.
3) I live in North Carolina now, I'm orginally born and raised a Southern Cali girl. NC has been so good to me though, I met the love of my life here, I've been able to afford a home (with out the sky high cost of living in CA)...but i do miss so many things about CA I never knew i loved!! like its bold beautiful open mindedness!!

One to grow on...dancing is in my blood! to me there is nothing more intoxicating or eletric. I wasnt very good at it at first... I remember when i first saw contemporay dance I felt like someone had stole my secrect... I literally cried, it felt like someone else had just showed the world my insides! I didn't know what to call it. i just knew i had to feel that. Conservatory after conservatory made me good enough for professional stuff like chicago & The Lion King Tour which i was proud of because all the other dancers had started dancing from the womb. lol! Misunderstood 19 yr. olds rarely start dance careers =) its been two years since i've even been able to take a dance class...i miss it soooo much!!!!

1. I have two little girls and they are like oil and water, my 6 year old is the "ULTIMATE DIVA" and my 3 year old is a major "TOMBOY"
2. When I met my FH I was 14 and he was 22, everyone said we would fail and 13 years later our love is stronger than ever
3. I am seriously considering becoming a Wedding Planner since all of my friends keep telling me I missed my calling. I love to help others and this is something I would love doing everyday...well as long as I am not spending my own money lol!
