Ladies as you probably know by now. I planned my entire wedding in less than 2months. Yep. My husband proposed to me on Nov 9 2007 and we married on Dec 16, 2007. It was surely meant for us to be.

I already explained how I found the wedding dress.

This is how I found our wedding and reception place:
It's this castle in my area. I continued to search wedding locations on the internet and that is all that continued to come up, was this castle. As I looked at the pictures my heart was set on this particular room at the castle called crystal towers. I gave them a call to set up a meeting. Over the phone the lady told me that crystal chambers was booked up until like march the next yr. She told me that the only room she had open was open in Jan. For some reason, I felt led to set up an apt anyway to check it out even though she did not have the day we wanted to get married open.

when I got there she showed me around the entire castle and even showed me crystal towers the room I had my heart set on. After that we went to her office to talk . (My husband and I had two days in mind The 16th and the 27th of dec). When the lady heard Dec, she kinda cut me off and laughed.. She was like it's no way you will ever get married this fast. I just looked at her and smiled, in my head I was like...You just don't know me...and you just don't know God like I do.

She had her calendar open on her computer with all the days that were scheduled for every room in the castle. She told me again that the only room she had was this other room, that was only open in Jan and crystal towers would not be open until March. As she turned around to look at her calender again. She said "wait a min, we have Dec 16 open" she kinda mumbled it , because she was shocked herself and since it was Christmas season every room in the castle was always booked the whole month of Dec.

One of my friends was with me and she just started to laugh when the lady said that Dec 16th was open. The lady had no clue that Dec 16th was the day that I wanted. Right away i called my husband over to take a look and we booked it .

My husband always calls me a princess and we got married in a castle.

My photographer; My uncel is a photographer. He has been taking pics at people weddings for years. So he told me he would at mine. At the last min someone stole his equipment and I was forced to find another one. Searching through the phone book I went. I made a few phone calls, but this one particular guy stood out. Boy was he kinda like a stalker. He would not let me get off the telephone. So i set up an appointment. I explained to him my situation and that my uncle was going to do my photos for free, so at the last min. I really didn't have any money left in my budget. He cut me a deal for $500. Stayed my entire wedding and reception.

I did my own invitations, I'll put pics up later. I ordered my flowers off ebay. I did something every day.

At my wedding everyone continued to tell me that I looked so calm. They said I was the most stress free bride they had ever seen. In my mind I was thinking. What should I be stressing over. I was happy. I was getting married.

I felt that since I could do my own wedding that fast and be so calm. I should make a career out of it. So I did. I now have my own Wedding Planning business. Your Dream Day Planner.

Pick people you can depend on. I didn't have any problems before the wedding. But after one was very shady.

I brought their dresses at the same place I got my wedding dress from. I got a a deal because I ordered the my dress, their dresses and also the tux from the same place. This will save you so much money and time.

I ordered the flower girl's dress off ebay. I was happy that every thing turned out to be the same shade of purple as if it was all purchased at the same place.

Ladies don't panic if your wedding day is approaching.I did it all in less than a month. It is very possible. So I decided to become a Wedding Planner. I love it.

My husband brought the ring. I found our wedding bands for 60% off the day after thanksgiving at Kohls. .

Yes they are fake. But I saved money. I brought the flowers off of ebay. They are silk flowers. I cut them they way i wanted them and wrapped them with tulle myself.

God Blessed me while I was planning my wedding. My husband proposed to me on Nov 9, 2007 and we got married on Dec 16, 2008. Yes. only less than 2months of planning.

I had people laugh at me, vendors and all. But seriously it was ment to be.

The way I found my dress was I walked in this small store that sold a few wedding dresses. Her main job was alterations. I kinda picked through a few of the formal dresses, Glanced for a brief second at my Wedding Dress and attempted to walk out of the store. As I was leaving, the lady said. "Mam...You should try on that dress." The dress looked really small to me, so I told her it was no way the dress would fit me, because I gain all of my weigh in my stomach. She insisted. You really should try on the dress. So I did. Do you know. This dress fit me perfectly, I did not have to have any alterations. I was shocked, she was shocked. That same day we found my head piece and jewelry. .

My cake came from my caterer. She decorated my wedding and reception, cooked my food and also did my cake.

As you know already how fast my wedding was planned. I just so happened that this lady had my wedding day open, at the last minuet.
