Wedding Reception
To Alcohol or not to Alcohol that is the question!
Okay Ladies... I thought we had decided to not have alcohol just to make things cheaper and smoother and so on. But I am pretty positive that we have found our reception site, and to have alcohol isint to expensive and is actually pretty reasonable. So the Man has left it up to me and said if I want it fine if I don't thats fine too. So its in my hands and I am kind of back and forth about it! In one way yes alcohol livens the party makes things a bit more fun and woo hoo! But then in another way its cheaper and saves us some bucks... and some of the people that are coming will probably have a stash in their car and I don't want people to miss out on things because they are outside doing whatever rather than inside celebratin with me! UGH! We have lots of time to decide but I thought I would just throw it out there and see what everyone thinks.... is it worth the extra money? and is it really that big of a deal??? Any ideas???????

Wedding Flowers
Any Ideas???
Okay so I recently decided that I no longer want flowers..Well I am leaniong in that direction anyway. But what I do not know is what else I could have besides flowers? I am taking suggestions. My bridesmaid and I discussed the possibility of just having the wedding party walk down together so it didn't look so odd with out them carrying anything, so that is one idea. I am not sure how I feel about the felt and button flowers... I just kind of want something different and exciting! I am trying not to be cliche and do everything the same. So!! Any ideas are welcome here!! Thanks ladies!!!

The Guys
Always worried about the boys!
I have been thinking a lot about what I want my boys to wear. Basically everything I want Keith to wear that he refuses to wear just gets passed on down to his guys :) FUN I KNOW! Well it's fun for me anyways, see I have always been a tomboy so I am kind of just a bit more excited about picking out what they wear than what I am going to wear! Besides they are much more fun to dress they get all these fun little things that I can do and I just love it! Anyway the purpose of my rant! Yes my rant has purpose is to tell you all my thoughts on what I am thinking these guys are going to wear! I have decided they will wear a suit because it's just a pain trying to figure out something else. I wanted to go with Green shirts for the guys with polka dot ties but not sure if I am going with that or not! But they will for sure be wearing polka dot ties! anddd They are going to wear cute skull socks which was my idea and I am really excited about! Also I really really enjoy the wing tipish shoes but ofcourse Keith hates them so I sort of passed them down to the guys for now. Not for sure on that yet., but its a maybe. Now as for my amazing man! He will be wearing a suit with no wing tips because he refuses and I really like the whole black shirt but he does not because it will be summer. But hopefully I get my way and he does black shirt with green tie and skull socks!!!! :) I am going to post some pics to see what you all think!

LETTERS!
So I am really big into the monogram last name letters and the whole last name thing. Not sure why I just really enjoy things like that! I was shopping around today for nothing in paticular just browsing around a few places and I found these letters, when I found them I immediately started to spell walters because thats what I do! LOL If I don't just want the W I want the whole last name... anyway sorry to get off track! So after spelling walters or attempting to with two hands I thought that these would be awesome on maybe like the cardbox table area spelling out walters! Now the only issue that I am having not that I need them any time soon but for the future is what color to get! I love the black but they also have a green! One of my bridesmaids said the green... I have not yet consulted the other two... but will do so. But I thought I would ask you guys what ones would be better.... I think it could also depend on what sort of card box we have. If we go with a polka dot one the green would probably be better. But with out that in mind what do you ladies think? Green or Black?

Okay Wedding Parties official now!!! I have my two girls My best friends in the world Lucinda Marie and Michelle Lee.. No clue why I just used their middle names hehe. Anyway! I have them and my other newest friend Cindy. Lucinda and Michelle were an obvious choice because we have been best friends forever!!! They are my rocks my other half...well my quarter halves I guess! My other soul mates! I love them like crazy and there is no way I would ever not have them in my wedding. Cindy.. I met at school we came in together and we are going out together. She is a really interesting and very cool person. We get along really well and I dunno we just instantly clicked as friends. For his side My best friend for my entire life is the best man! Arthur!! We were in the womb together our moms were best friends so when Keith mentioned to me about asking him ofcourse I freaked out and me and Arthur were mega excited! Next in his line up is my friend Mat he is also another of my best friends. We have been friends since junior high! he is amazing!!! Lastly is Cindy's husband Jim. Keith and him get along really well and he is closer to Keith's age so its nice when we all hang out together. :) I know it's really early but I have ton's of plans and have already started looking for things that I might want! SO EXCITING! I absolutley can not wait to be Mrs.Walters!!!!

So these are the centerpieces that I found recently and I really think they are what I want!! Obviously the ribbon will be my colors but the Groom is very into nature and such so I think the rocks will add an awesome touch to his nature side.

Engagement
Nothin fancy!!
The engagment was a pretty simple thing there wasn't a one knee thing or a airplane flying through the sky with a banner asking me to marry him. It started out as a discussion and sort of a joke at first. The Groom was previously married and swore he would never do it again until I came along ofcourse! We dabbled with the idea of marriage but once he said he would do it he was stuck. So we decided when the time was right he would ask. It didn't take long after that on our way to his house one night when he looked at me and said Sammi will you be my bride? I ofcourse said YES YES YES!!! and from then there was much dilibiration until finally a date was picked!! Only a few days ago! So thats it thats my engagment story no fun banners or bended knees but lots and lots of love :)

The date is official!! Our wedding is going to be a brighter Green and black with like accents of black and white polka dots. We are going to also try and throw some vintagey stuff into this because well hes vintage and I love the vintage look of things. My bridesmaid Michelle put it best she said a Modern Vintagey... :) We just started planning so there is a ton more to do! So thats where we are now! I absolutley can not wait to marry the most amazing and beautiful man in the world!!
