TODAY IS THE DAY!!!
Today is the day I have been waiting for since I was a little girl.. the church doors will open and I will walk down the isle to meet the man of my dreams!! I cannot believe how fast this few by I remember when the WBC counter was in the 200s and now it says today!!

Church Program Wording?
The picture is of the actual programs I got for the church. Just wondering how my fellow WBC brides plan to word certain parts. Like when you list your bridesmaids and groomsmen.. are you planning to say "friend of bride or groom" or "friend of couple" also both me and my FH have a half brother in the wedding.. should we just put "Brother or Bride/Groom" or "Half Brother of Bride/Groom" HELP!! I want to get this printed tomorrow and i need some advice!

I am getting married in 3 days... my counter says 2 I dont know why, weird.. anyways..
I finished getting my bridesmaids gifts today and got their gift bags I plan to put them in. I will post pictures tomorrow when I hopefully get everything together and organized. I got all my stuff organized into different totes/bags of what needs to go where like Church, reception, hall and so on. I just cannot believe it is in 3 days!! I am getting married!!! Last night I finished our Thank You sign I will post pics of that tomorrow as well. On Monday I went for my hair trial and it turned out AWESOME I LOVED IT!! I think the only thing I have left to do is print off the programs for church. I have off of work tomorrow so I will post pictures of my things I talked about in this post! I also have to go to my last tanning appointment and go to the hall and pay the balance. ahhhh 3 days!!!! |

Inspiration!!
I saw this idea awhile back before we got engaged and thought it was such a cute idea for thank you's!! I priced both photo postcards and 4x8 photo cards at walmart.com and with postage and the total cost of the product its cheaper to go with the 4x8 card. I think this is a great personal touch to our guests. I bought a fine sharpie today and plan to write a little message on each of the thank yous, because I know some people think its more special to get a handwritten thank you so I thought I would do both!! I need to make a sign or a couple signs for the big day. I am going to ask a family member to take our picture holding these signs so I can get the thank yous made right away so I can start writing them all out and hopefully they can be in the mail within a week after the wedding. I took off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of work so I hope I can get as many done as possible!!!
Its after midnight while I am writing this so I officially have 7 days!!! CANNOT WAIT!!! |

Mothers handkerchiefs.. LOVE THEM
I got these handkerchiefs from etsy by seller HipHandBags they turned out fabolous and I cannot wait to give them to both my mom and my fmil. My moms reads "Mom, Today a Bride, Tomorrow a Wife, Forever your daughter. Love Jessica 10-16-10" and my fmil's reads "Chris, Thank you for raising your son to be the man of my dreams! Love Jessica 10-16-10" They are both going to love them at least I hope so. I am debating if I should these to them at the reherseal dinner or the day of the wedding right before we start the pictures. I am leaning towards the day of only because I am not planning to get the dads anything the only thing is if I give them the day of they probably will cry and their makeup will get ruined before the ceremony even starts!!

When I get done with work today I am going to the dress shop to try on my dress one last time before the big day! I also get to take it home but I am bringing it to my aunt and uncles house so the FH does not see it!!! sooooo excited!!

Wedding Music And Songs
First dance song?!?! HELP!
My FH and I have been thinking for months about which song to choose and we just cannot narrow it down. The song I LOVED was Brad Paisley's song Then.. BUT we went to my cousins wedding a couple months ago and they had that song so FH does not want to have the same one. He would like something different. A song that fits us well is Living Our Love Song by Jason Michael Carroll but its not really a slow dancing song. I never would have that this would be such a hard decision but it is.. any suggestions?
Also what are some good peppy grand march songs? We need to hand in these songs to our DJ ASAP it was supposed to be received 2 weeks in advance and that is today so I have to send it out Monday at the latest. |

Another check off the list!!
time is a ticking..
So I finished our wedding slide show! I am sooo happy with the way it turned out its perfect! I had add the pictures scanned in and saved into separate files it was just a matter of putting it together. Last night from 10pm-6am I worked straight thru and got it done! It did not seem like it took 8 hours but it was sooo worth it I am so happy with the way it turned out!! Its a total of about 12 minutes long and has 3 songs. We plan to play it after dinner as our guests are getting served our cake!
