Happy Anniversary!!
Hi ladies!!!! I jus wanted to stop by & check in, I hadnt been on since the wedding. Anywho, jus wanted to share with u guys how excited I was this weekend!!! I cant believe its been a year today already!!!! Seems like jus yesterday..or even last week when we were married!!! Doesnt seem like a year.
I had a great time celebrating the entire weekend wit the hubby!! We reminisced and talked about that day and what we plan to do as a couple to make sure our marriage remains in tact (cause we all know the devil hates healthy marriages) and we even saved our top layer of cake to share for the day but we still have yet to cut it!! Im scared that the taste of it will immediately turn me off to it. Pray for me ladies!!! Well, I cant wait for the many anniversarys to come and I pray u ladies all have fun in ur planning process!!! This may be my very last post..then again..who knows!!! Remember to enjoy ur wedding day because I can guarantee u that it will go really fast if u dont!!! Happy planning ladies!! Smooches!! |

Ring the Alarm!!!!
I's Married Nah!!!!!!
Hey ladiesssss!!!! Im back!! Im back!!!! I had soo much fun on my wedding day!!!! Im sorry I didnt say my goodbyes but when the last three weeks hit me, I knew it was crunch time. Thx to alot of family and friends (Christine especially) I wouldnt have been able to pull this off!!!
Well, lets see..where shall I begin...Well, things went great for me. I absolutely loved every minute of it!! From rehearsal to leaving the reception. I must admit, my dj had me in tears because he completely screwed up the entire night!!!! But I got really upset when he destroyed the tribute I had setup for my dad. It was a video tribute of him and our family and the song that was "suppose" to be playing was Daddy by Beyonce, but this didnt happened as planned. But I dont wanna go to deep into that because I get MAD all over again!! Back to the wedding day bliss!!! Well, like fellow brides say all the time, something will definitely go wrong or not as planned, but u learn to just go with it and move on!! So I did..on to the next one. My hubby was looking soo goood in that white with his hair fresh cut (oh how I luvvvvvv his swag ;-)!!!! lol Anywho, my emotions are running everywhere!! It was the most memorable day yet!!! WE had so much fun and I think every bit of stress, money, loss of sleep and time (lol) was worth it all!!! Here are a few pics from my wedding album...I have so many it was hard to choose but I didnt wanna put too many (too time consuming)...u guys that cake right there.......I kid u not..I get more raves about it more than ANYTHING else. lol but alot of people have been raving about how normally a wedding cake is really pretty and really nasty, well our cake was really pretty and really really goog yall I swear......it was sooooo moist like it was straight from the oven (about 30 mins ago) serioulsy and then the chocolate and strawberries complimented it well...ppl still call me asking who made my cake. I have two bday orders with her now and the tripped out part is...the baker does this all from the comfort of her own home!!!!!! ...let me stop here...I can go on and on about this day..it was absolutely beautiful and I cried the entire way down the aisle..it was bliss...(sighing) toodles!!!! :-) |

Pew Decor Finalist
Well ladies, we have finally been able to do a mockup of what the pew decor will look like for the ceremony. Now the inspiration is from an earlier post that I showed with the white flowers and linen. Now my setup will be very similar to the original post pic, but I will have red and white roses and peonies like shown in the pic and I will have about 2000 red rose petals along the sides rather than white.
So what do u ladies think of the pew arrangements my decorator made?!?!?!?! |

Remembering Him
Ladies, I have tons of things to post so keep up!! lol As some may know, my father passed away Dec, 30, 2009 and we buried him January 6, 2010 so its still fresh for me to even talk about, but I wanted to make sure we remembered him in a special way. However, my oh-so magnificent decorator never ceases to amaze me!!
She came up with this beautiful piece! We will use the original candle I have in pic in an earlier post rather than the one here, but I still think it looks cute!! I especially like the dove accent she placed on it as well because we used a similar dove on my fathers floral arrangment and my mom kept it as a keepsake. The moment I saw it, I started to cry because the dove was a symbol of him. I cant til this part of the ceremony. We are gonna light the candle together when the FH and my uncle make the switch!! Im so excited and I just cant hide it!!!!! Happy planning ladies!! |

Hey ladies, I am 17 days away from being Mrs. Patton and the projects are rolling in. Ive shown u our newly found centerpeices. Well, we thought it would be nice to make their area a little more children friendly. My decorator Christine put together this nice little damask candy centerpiece for their table. We bought the damask box from Michaels and then we added the custom sign in the front. She filled it with some nice goodies for children to enjoy!
I also thought it was cute to do the coloring books for ALL the kids at the reception. This will give them a little something to do while the parents are mingling and finding their comfort area!! lol! Christine changed the size up for me a little and added the border. We are on a roll baby!!! Whoo hoo!! :-) Here are pics of the finished products. Happy Planning ladies!! |

Favors completed!!
Hello ladies, I recently had an assembly party with a few of the bridesmaids at my house and we were able to get a lot of the favors done.
I am having three types of favors. Here is a pic of the first one. I did clear bags with two silver hershey kisses inside along with a small bottle of bubbles. We did a custom favor tag that reads "blowing kisses". This favor represents us because we both love love love chocolate so this favor was one we really liked. Happy Planning ladies!!! :-) |

Aisle Runner: Check!!!
Ladies, my time is winding down really really fast and Im becoming more and more nervous, but I am definitely trying to make sure I have everything complete, so these last few weeks have been really busy for me.
I finally completed my aisle runner!! It took us all of about a day to complete the entire runner. I had some help (thx Candice and FH) so the project was fast and somewhat easy. Anywho, here is a pic of our finished aisle runner!!! Yay!!! Tracing to me was the hardest part of this project, but once I completed the tracing, we were smooth sailing. Wow, only 19 days to go!!!! YAY!!!! Happy planning ladies!! |

The Time Is Near!!!
..and counting!!!
Wow, I cant believe it!!!!! I have 30 days left!!! I cant believe it!!! It seems like the other day I was watching other brides post about being at their 30 day mark and anxiously waiting until the day I get to say it...well ladies, my day has COMMMMMEEEE!!!! Whoo hoo!!! I so excited!!!
Well, I actually have 29 days, but I wanted to post this yesterday (sorry, lol) Anywho, I am very much proud of myself. I have gotten pretty much everything squared away with the wedding. The shower was a great success and now the focus is strictly back on the wedding. I have ALOT of free time on my hands these days, so I am rolling with projects. Tomorrow, I plan to invite a few of the girls over to help me finish up favors. I have gotten ALL of the things I need to march down that aisle on April 10. From my veil, to my shoes. So Im set, the FH is set, the girls are set!! Heck, we can go ahead and have an early ceremony with just us!! lol! Just kidding!! Im not that anxious..... Happy planning!! |

Hey ladies, I am so excited!! I had my coed wedding shower this past weekend and I was so pleased with how everything turned out. I had a few issues that came about, but I definitely dont wanna remember that part of the shower.
Although, we arrived REALLY late, the guest seem to be having alot of fun!!! We had a pretty decent turnout and everyone left happy!! Anyway, here are a few pics that were taken with my camera.
