How many of you ladies have more than one dress for your wedding?
I found this jewel and my jaw dropped. Im a sucker for yellow and pink, and this reminds me of the dress Carrie Underwood wore at the CMAs last year. (Obsessed. Shes amazing) I would totally change the colors of my wedding for this. |

Due to my family being COMPLETELY unsupportive, having no drivers license and the FH being out of state for work - my planning consists of the internet, Pinterest & wedding magazines.
Ive decided. Beaded/rhinestoned bodice & One-shoulder is a must! I actually found this dress because a fellow facebook friend was tagging photos on Facebook to a boutique downtown to a dress she purchased & wore to prom or something. I had heard of the place before. And yes, this dress IS a prom dress. What do you think?! Ive attached some others I've got my eye on. |

Engagement
We JUST told his family, and it went by a lot better than with mine. (This will be his second marriage, my first). We're taking things day-by-day.
We've been together officially three months now. EEK. (Ironically his parents got married three months to the date.) But our wedding isn't planned (or set it stone) until September 2012. These are the rules: We get our own home, finances, and such straight beforehand. No RED in the wedding. No church. No traditional wedding. Wedding must not be in AUGUST or December, nor when its freakishly cold outside. Silly huh? So far so good. |

HOW PRECIOUS!
My niece-in-law-to-be will be 5 y/o at the time of the wedding next year, how adorable is this! If only I can talk the family into it. ;-) Maybe not a scarecrow, something similar - I'm thinking a TUTU is a must! My wedding is so far from traditional, I LOVE IT! Wedding Cake
Looks like we've made an agreement.
Thanks to Better Homes & Gardens, October issue - We've decided on BLACK VELVET CAKE with white (orange flavored) icing.
And a FINAL (hopefully) decision on orange, black and silver as our colors! Yes, a early fall/Halloween celebration of our love and my favorite holiday! Lots of glitter, stringed lights, and pumpkins. |

AAH!
I can't do this on my own. As of today, we're discussing COLORS. (Hey, one step at a time!) So I spent a few hours tonight downloading photos from Google of color schemes, themes & locations to discuss with him. He wants to get married when it's warm and I want a Autumn/Halloween wedding. We're bouncing ideas from a rustic, country barn wedding to a simple, small beach wedding. Hopefully we'll make a decision soon. I want the wedding of my dreams, spending as less money as possible! 339 days to go! (Date subject to change) :-/
