Oh what a wonderful day! Jerel and I had a blast at our wedding. No major problems. If so, the Girls took care of it before I noticed!! The day want by so fast!

Save the Date

Got'em! We are just moving along! 8 months to go!!!
The Save the Dates have been ordered and should be here by the Engagement Party on August 16th. This way we can give them out to our guest... saving money on mailing all of them out. Our website on wedding window.com will be up to view by August 15th!!! We took this picture in late June at VA Beach on the roof top of the Hilton Hotel poolside! I feel like we work all the time, so you can clearly tell that we enjoyed the much need time off!! Let me know what you think!! |

On the Tables...
During my last vist to the Fearrington, I asked about the Tin Buckets on the table. I didn't want to go out and buy 15 for each table. THEY HAVE 'EM. I love this place. No matter what I ask for they have it all. On an earlier post I noted that I wanted Mason Jars for cocktails. They have those too! Just wanted to share my joy with all of you!
My look is coming together. I see the light!! But, I still have tons to do. |

Poms or flower basket?
My Flower Girls will not be dropping pedals, I just can't risk it and fake flowers are not my Moms thing. She's big into the flower thing!!! I had to ask that she slow her roll when it comes to picking the flowers.
Let me tell you a little about MY Mom...she will pick every flower that cost an arm and a leg and then give me hell when she sees the ending price. As if it was my fault! Hell you picked them and NOW "you" have to pay! We just had the talk on our way down to visit the Fearrington. So my question is should I use a flower basket or a pom? Check out the pictures and let me know what you think!! I added the last picture becasue I've had ask that our little Flower Girl wears flowers in her hair. |

Programs...are they worth it?
My 1st DIY Project!
I'm really not that big on DIY. Not that I don't like the task, I just have very little time. Plus if I see the programs not being used or on the ground after spending time, sweat and tears trying to get these right I'm going to be upset!! Anyway, I've enlisted the help of my MOH! She doesn't know it yet!
Nevertheless, the "Church Fan" like programs will be prefect for our Southern Chic outdoor wedding at the end of April. Has anyone found any websites that gives you insight on "how to" go about making these? You can totally tell that I don't do this! It's not funny! Please let me know about the do's and don'ts of DIY!! |

Yes, I've been looking for the right shoe with my ivory dress! Shimmery champagne gold slingbacks with rosettes at the toe. Makes a beautiful wedding shoe or a least that is what I will make them for my special day. So these shoes are not in the wedding budget, but I have GOT to have these! Were there is a will there is a way. So make way, because I'm buying these shoes!!! |

my colors....took long enough!
Ok Girls....so I think I have it narrowed it down. My colors that is! It has to be one of the most FAQ and when I say it aloud it sounds ugly. So NOW I can show folks what I'm talking about!!!
Every color that you see here to your left will be used in the wedding, by way of flowers mostly. When I 1st started this blog I changed the colors so many times. What a waste becasue these are the colors that I wanted from jump. I just couldn't fine the right combo! Totally Southen Chic! |
