It's Been a Long Time
HELLO
Hello To All,
I have been wanting to stop by and say "Hello" to all.Welcome
to the newly engaged and married folks/people.
Giving much love to the old engaged, married crew and those who
have already celebrated their annivesaries. Blowing kisses......?

I will try to get back on here, here and there to post.I see there are
still a few ladies that joined around the same time as I did.And they
are still stopping by.KUDOS......Ladies!!!
This site is very helpful and gives you hundreds of wedding/reception ideas plus more to make your day spectacular.

Life is great with my hubby and I.Enjoying each other.Still spending time with family and friends.

My how time flies. Can't believe how the year went by so fast. Life and GOD has been sooooo good. A little about our wkend. I took Friday off to have 3 day wkend.Hubby n I enjoyed a grrreat wkend with much relaxation,eating and enjoying each other.We went to IHop for breakfast, PF Changs, and BoneFish. U gotta love him. Thanks honey for an enjoyable wkend.

ONLY 5 DAYS TO GO..........
Our Wedding
I can't believe that we only have 5 days left until the "BIG" day.

I'm getting the butterflies now.I guess you can say that reality
has set in........... :o) I am also nervous because the last few months
or so I prayed that nobody got ill or that anything happened to anyone.

Low and behold I texted my photographer today to check on her she texted me back that she's been in the hospital for 2 days.My mouth fell wide opened.Young lady in her early 30's had a mini stroke.Blessed that everything is okay and she's being discharged tomorrow.

GOD IS GOOD.........................Luckily my videographer does pictures
he would have been my back up.

Ladies please conitnue to pray for me as I will do the same for you.

ONLY 10 days left.........
Our Wedding Day
It seems only yesterday that we got engaged.Now we're 10 days
away from being Mr.and Mrs.

Can someone tell me where all the time has gone??????

Still have a few loose ends to tie and all of my DIY's are completed
except my memorial candle.Will post them most likely after
our wedding.Sorry I know it's after the fact.

I'm excited about getting married have been looking forward to this
day since he proposed.One thing I can say is that know one can really
prepare you for the "drama" that may come about.If only we could see
into the future.

People you ask to take part in your wedding they agree and
then after a while shit just goes every which but loose.LOL.At times
you have to laugh to keep from cursing someone out or crying,

And yes when it's all said and done it's still "Just the 2 of US"

Amen amen and AMEN.....................

LOST A BRIDESMAID
WTH............... 2 WEEKS AWAY
Well Ladies its like they say you live and you learn. I was asked by
one of my Bridesmaids on last Wednesday if she could add sleeves
to her dress and I told her "NO" that wouldn't work.

Because her dress would be different from the other girls.She had texted me a picture of what it would look like added.I told her that it
was nice but the answer was still "NO".Get this she is also my Godsister has know about the wedding since we got engaged in 08".

Asked about being a bridesmaid and she agreed.Now they were sent a letter with a picture of the dress along with the style# about a year and a half ago.Going back throuhg my blog you will find a picture of
the dress.

Earlier part of the year David's had a sale on the dress where you got $40 off.Informed all of the ladies so they could save a few $$$ with the economy the way it is.Sorry ladies but I just have to vent and GOD knows I have asked him to just bless me.I know that this may be long.

I apologize.Ok heres the problem..............................She's not comfortable with her arms being out.She's a plus size girl.One reason why I chose that dress so she would be comfortable and
it's a dress they could where again.Me being the nice guy gets a slap in the face. So what is a girl suppose to do??????

My thing is you knew what kind of dress you were wearing,why would you purchase a dress that you weren't comfortable in?Thats what I asked her.She claims she mentioned it to me about her being uncomfortable.I told her I didn't remember her saying that and if I didn't say anything she should have mentioned it then and maybe then
changes could have been made but now it's too late.

She txt me today stating that she had David's to add the sleeves.I told her again that, that wouldn't work.I also told her if she's really concerned about her arms that,that would draw more attention to her.
She says well thats fine because if I'm covered I will be comfortable.

Explained to her that, that wouldn't work and reminded her that she wouldn't be walking by herself so that would cover up one arm.I also
told her that after the ceremony and taking pictures she could do
whatever she wants.Guess what??? Not what she wants.I told her
sorry I would love to accomodate you but I can't.I told her to that I am
realy hurt because this is something I didn't expect from her especially two weeks out from wedding.

Ladies.Tell me did I handle this well or not? I think I did.Please respond with your responses.

Bridal Party Songs
Ladies please somebody help me out. I have yet to decide what song
I want my bridal party to come in on.I have all the other songs picked.

For some reason just hard finding them a song.
Did any of you ladies have this problem? Or is it just me........LOL

Amel Larrieux song "For Real" I love the beat and the words but it's
not appropiate for the ladies.I also like this new jam out by Calvin
Richardson.Still not appropiate for the ladies.

Both those songs are for the bride to walk in on :o(

So ladies if you would please help a sista out.I'm open for
all suggestions.

Coed Shower
I am so excited that our shower is being held tomorrow at my good friend's house which is also our coordinator.

Her and my sister are the hostess.My sister who is also my "Matron".
I think that my coordinator is more excited than I am.She for one love's to host and is a grrreat hostess.

She was the one to make the decision for it to be coed but she did ask
me if it was okay.Which I said yes.This will be the second coed shower I've attended.

I asked if I could do anything to help out they both told me NO NO NO
I don't know how many times........well anyway I got two games for us to
play.Thanks to "trulyblessed" we're going to play wedding taboo and
another thanks to "sarahdarling" I had her to design some cootie catchers.I printed and folded them.

Ladies just want you to know in advance that I haven't learned that well
how to upload photos so I will have to wait for my daughter to upload the pictures from the shower.But I will upload them. :o)

RSVP's are coming in.....
Hey ladies my RSVP's have started coming in.................
Yippee Yay..... I know that some will stil come in even after the reply
date.That's just how "WE" do. :o)

The one's that don't reply will definitely not get into the reception.I am
soooooo serious.People need to learn to RSVP. I will have a seating chart and once everyone is seated if I'm in a good mood I might let them in.What do you think ladies???

I'm all for them not coming in.Because I know that half of them are
only coming to be nosey.

Getting closer to our date
Wow....... I can't believe how time flies.It waits for know one.
I can still hear people saying why are you waiting so long
to get married???? But now they're saying that the time came so
quick.Which it has.

I still have a few DIY projects left to do.I'm sure that they will be done

I'm so behind with this information.I mailed my invites out almost 2 wks ago.Some were hand delivered.Yes I delivered to those that were close by.To save on stamps.Yes I said "save" .........LOL. I'm one of those brides on a budget.

A few people on my job I invited I enclosed their envelopes for the reception but I didn't put a stamp on it.I told them they could
physically return it to me.
