For the moms on WBC, how are you including your children in the planning process of your wedding? Do you have a special task for them on THE day?
From the get-go I planned on having my three year old give me away. My father hasn't been in my life until the past few weeks and I'm not close enough to my stepfather to have him give me away. Not to mention we aren't having a traditional ceremony. I still think it would be adorable for Jesse, our son, to be involved somehow in our ceremony. And, now, we'll have an eight month old daughter by the time our wedding roles around as well.
I think I may just be content in dressing them up and parading them around... lol.. but I was curious as to what everyone else has their children doing on their wedding day?
I have two sons and my FH had four children.
My parents are a huge part of my life but my father gave me away when I first got married years ago. This time I asked Dad if it would be ok if my sons gave me away this time, they will be 12 and 11. He was wrapped with the idea.
As for my Fh children, we are not sure how what to do, there might be an issue with his ex about our wedding so we are waiting to see.
If things go to plan, we want to do a sand ceremony with all our children.
