IKEA why aren't you near me?!
I'm so frustrated. I've been looking for lanterns everywhere and can't seem to find anything that will work that is reasonably priced. Most of the ones that I have found are around $30 each.
So today, I found the perfect lantern on ikea.com for only $6.99!!!! Will they ship it to Colorado, sure, but only if you are there in person to place the order. AGH! For a brief moment, I thought about driving to Utah and then I shook myself back to reality. Oh IKEA, why did you get my hopes up? The search continues.... |

Wedding Decoration
Where can I find these?
I have looked around a little and can't seem to find lanterns like the ones in the main photo? I'm thinking about setting them up on shepherd hooks down the aisle and then moving them to the tables for centerpieces like in the second picture, but with different decorations, of course.
Any ideas? |

Bridesmaids
Bridesmaids dress looks
These are the contending looks for our wedding. I am pretty much in love with the light green look, but it's taking a little bit of convincing to get my bridesmaids and fiance on the same page. To me, the green gives the wedding a classy, antique look which I LOVE. My second choice would be to get eggplant/plum dresses in the same length.

I just finished my first Tony Horton P90x workout :-/ and by finish, I mean sweat my a** off for about 45 minutes before a pulled something doing the "prayer twist" pose and had to quit.
LOL I thought home workouts would be better, but this video left me wishing I was on the elliptical machine. Here's hoping tomorrow's DVD is easier! |

Transportation
Horse and Carriage
I decided to get us a horse and carriage as a surprise for my fiance. They will bring me out in it and then after the ceremony is over, they will take us around town for about ten minutes. I'm thinking this will be the only ten minutes that we will have to ourselves until the end of the night, so it seems worth it.
I kind of think it's a little over the top, but I love it still :) Now I just have to worry about falling out of the thing and losing a tooth or something haha. |

Wedding Dress
Karena Royale
This is me in the Karena Royale dress. I LOVE the back but I only LIKE the front :)
The top is waaay to big for me in this picture and that would obviously be fixed when I order it in my size. What do you think? Do you think the front will show my figure more (like the back does) when it's altered? |

Wedding Decoration
Gazebo
This is the ceremony site where we will be married. I'm having a hard time deciding on decorations for the gazebo.
We have already gone all out, in my opinion, on the venue, the DJ and the caterer, so cuts have to be made on decorations or I'll need to sell a kidney to make this wedding happen LOL. I'm kind of thinking about doing shepherd hooks with lanterns down the aisle, and then maybe suspending more candles across the gazebo. Any ideas? |

Wedding Flowers
My bouquet
I'm so excited because I stumbled upon this picture yesterday. I was trying to explain to my florist what I wanted my bouquet to look like and then I found this picture. It's almost exactly what I want! I just don't want the leaves in there...maybe some green berries instead.
I think my fiance would like us to have more color in the wedding, but I'm not really sure how to incorporate any. The venue is going to be so colorful and I couldn't decide on anything that would compliment it, so I thought we could go a little more neutral with everything. The bridesmaids dresses will be black or champagne (I haven't decided) The flowers are going to be mostly green and white My dress is shown below but it will be in all white (including the sash) Any thoughts on the third picture? |

I think this is the dress. It feels a little more timeless to me than some of the trendy dresses that are out there right now and the back of the dress is absolutely gorgeous. I plan to get it in all white (including the sash), but that makes me nervous because I don't get to try it before I buy it since they don't have it in stock. The dress in the picture is ivory lace over light gold.
I went to purchase this dress on Saturday and the bridal shop was crazy. There was another woman in there that was trying on really big dresses and I got nervous about my decision, so I decided to hold off. With so many styles out there, how did you decide on your dress? |
