This is mlb226's Pink Wedding!

So here it is! I'm in love with it! I originally just had one band that I got when we got married real quick before he was deployed. But now that were having our actual wedding I wanted a wrap. One band for when we legally got married and the other to symbolize our actual wedding. Cant wait to wear it in July! I never posted a picture of my engagement ring. Its a three stone princess cut ring with the diamonds turned.

So I have had quite the veil drama. The cheapest veil I could find at the place I got my dress was 200--it had nothing on it, no speical detail or anything so I refused to pay that. I get this bright idea to order one on ebay, not thinking that my dress is diamond white I order a white one, and I wasnt sure of the length I wanted so I got an elbow length. Well needless to say the veil wasnt even close to matching my dress, it was cheap and looked it, and way to short. So I just said whatever i'll wear it for my bachelorette party. Onto my next adventure. I ordered another one off of ebay diamond white this time and a little longer. Got it in the mail with a rip in the bottom of it, and it was too short, she didnt send me the right length. I contact her and tell her about the rip and length and she said it was my fault, I had to have put the hole in it and she wouldnt accept a return--seriously. We went back and forth for about a week and finally she offered me a half refund. Whatever I didnt even feel like dealing with her anymore. So i'm on here looking through some posts and I see one for occanseydesigns.com so I try it. You can custom do everything on it from the type of comb, cut, what you want on it, EVERYTHING! I was so excited I got the Diamond White Shimmer material, on a 3in plastic comb regular cut and 34in long and lightly scattered rhinestones....and its PERFECT! They only took about 2 weeks to get it to me and it was only 58 with shipping! The material is so soft and it falls perfectly! I would definately reccomend them--ebay....not so much!

So I need some help on what to wear to my bachelorette party...we were going to do the traditional bride and bridesmaid tank tops but I talk to the girls we all decided to dress up. So what do you guys think of this dress? Also theres a Jessica Mcclintock dress that I love, but its 135 and I dont know if I can spend that! Here is the link, I couldnt upload the picture. Let me know what you guys think! Or since my wedding is fuschia should I wear that color dress? I have no clue--ugh!

My FH is obsessed with Ohio State---our kitchen is even done in OSU ....so I ordered these today and he loves them! I wish it could have been a suprise...but I can't keep suprises lol. Its killing me not to show him my dress! But I won't....I promise lol

Does anyone have any ideas or pictures for shorter hair styles? I have no clue how I want to do my hair, it's shorter in the back and half way between my chin and shoulders in the front. In desperate need of some ideas. I was just planning on putting it half up, or something. I hate my ears so I want to keep them covered.

just under 3 years

Did you get the ring you wanted?
Exactly....although I did drill it in his head what I wanted =)

Was the proposal a complete surprise?
Kind of, I knew he had the ring...but i didnt know when he was going to do it. He was getting deployed to kuwait for a year and he wanted to get married before he left so if anything happened to him I would be taken care of. So I knew it was going to be before he left...and now were getting ready to have our actual wedding =)

Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
Um, I love my rings...of course they could always be bigger....maybe a few years down the road.

Did you cry when he proposed?
No...I was shaking...but no crying

Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like.
very simple, just us two in our living room. He hooked it to our dogs collar and told me he thought the collar was broken and too see if I could fix it...it was so cute

When do you want to go for your honeymoon?
well i'm in nursing school now and I wont have another break till december, so we might hold off until then.

Are you buying his wedding band for him?
We already have joint checking accounts so no not technically

Not yet---46 more days so give me time I'm sure I will!

Inside...definately! I would love an outside wedding just for the pictures....but its not really practical in july with it being so hot.

So it's been a few short days of a month since my seamstress took my dress, on the 30th will be a month exactly. I called yesturday to see how things were going with my dress because to be honest, i'm terrified she'll steal my dress lol! Paranoid I know, but she looked a hot mess when she came and got it, but she was nice and seemed like she knew what she was doing. Anyway I left a message and she hasnt called back yet! Do I have a reason to be irritated with that? I mean she has to know how stressed I am, and not calling me back about my dress is just adding to it. I figure I'll give her until tuesday and try and call again. So wish me luck!

UPDATE: So I finally got a hold of her today I couldnt wait till tuesday. It should be done by friday she said! I could get the picture to rotate so sorry it's sideways!

So the first is my cake box, I noticed everyone else has there envelope slot on the front. Mine is on top....hopefully it works out ok! Second is my gerbera pomander, took forever and sooo many flowers. I still have 10 more to do so the $$ is racking up, but I really wanted them and it was cheaper doing it myself so I can really complain. What do you think? Next project: guest book, and monogram cake topper--wish me luck!
